Idiotic comment on so many levels.
Just watch him every game. He barely runs. Cannot close down or press with any intensity. He needs the ball to feet, won't make runs in behind.

If you think he is a top player for a club with top, top ambitions I have news for you; other teams fans laugh at us having him.

Had some good runs with the ball and kept the shape well when they had it, his passing was off though.

I'm laughing at you. Such an inaccurate post, embarrassing really.

@Ashish Negi. No, I don’t think I will.

Even the biggest Martial fan can’t deny that he always looks and acts like he doesn’t care, isn’t interested and isn’t enjoyplaying and that is contagious.

I’ve played football my whole life and have left teams because of players less infuriating than him.

He’s a disease in this side and I’m convinced he won’t be here much longer.

Did our best chances come after he was subbed?

Coincidence.
No not a coincidence Ole decided to let the team attack more freely in the last few. You could see he on the touch line urging us forward. That wasn’t happening in the first half.

Very much a ride out the early storm and then do the damage against tired legs from Ole and it nearly worked .

Did okay today. Was disciplined when defending and had a few good touches offensively. A bit unlucky to be hooked early, he wasn't any worse than Bruno and Rashford.

Fresh legs against tired to be fair.
To be fair Cavani had very little impact, Greenwood didn’t touch the ball did he? Pogba who started the game came into it more when moved centrally, so more a change it tactics, than fresh legs for me.

Care to explain where the inaccuracies are in that post? He doesn’t, won’t and isn’t.

All seems very accurate to me.

So, because you, in all of your amateur football experience, decided to throw tantrums in the past because your team mates looked a little laid back, you think that's how professionals see the game? Christ, the arrogance of your post.

I personally think Cavani looks not much without Martial on the pitch.

If Ole wants to bring one out then it should be Rashford because Cavani needs Martial's deep play and creativity rather than Rashford's inside cutting and shooting which doesnt suit Cavani much.

Weird your account is from 2012 and only has 72 posts, if we had known that criticizing Martial would have brought you in after all these years we would have done it previously.

Conveniently ignored all the facts about Martial, but sure, if you like.

A bit frustrating again. Thing is he has the potential to be one of the best footballers in the world but doesn’t really deliver. I still believe we need to keep playing him.

He had potential to reach that bracket when he first joined and really excelled at dribbling past players and finishing chances. Now he looks half arsed all the time, rarely dribbles past players, doesn't make enough runs, it stinks. He's the most inconsistent player in the team and has been since he was given the no.11 shirt. He isn't a top striker and never will be based off his consistency alone.

We are top of the League and all our players are contributing
We are a better team with Martial in the Team
Anyway let’s enjoy this run whilst it last
It’s like we are so used to complaining that we don’t know when we should be celebrating
Let’s go and enjoy the last few weeks and hopefully we beat Fulham on Wednesday

Some of us are swamped with work because we run our own businesses, and come here as an old habit to break off steam - usually to read and not engage. Our hands are forced when you lot are making this an idiocracy!

What a weird coincidence having a free time to post finally while we're criticizing a player in his performance thread.

Great hold up great feet and linked up well again but never looked like scoring.

Taking him off at 60mins was sensible prevents injury but we lost his composure on the ball in that last 30.
No we didn't, we became a FAR more dynamic team when Cavani came on. Cavani shown more in 7 minutes than Martial shown in 60.

Perhaps you should spend more time on your business so you're not so swamped.

Definitely showing more interest and intent with some good breaks through the middle, but sadly the end product is still missing. Hopefully he will feel he’s moving forward and click back into form in the next game or two.
A decent goal would work wonders for his confidence.
