And to think some of these clowns including Woodward have resigned their posts on the Uefa committee. Fecking happy days. We need to drive these cnuts out of our club now
We aren’t going to pull out. Woody and the Glazers have shown for a long time that they’re no good at reading what the fans of the club want. They’re going to go down swinging with this idea. United and Real will be the last two left in this.David Ornstein arrives to dampen the mood:

If one believes in science and is both male and American that is going to start a real tug of war between greed and uhm.... urges?Yanks think about money first and foremost and think that others also only think about money. They'll never get it. Never.
Still want to stick by this one?Do you really think clubs havent done their due diligence before getting involved? Seriously? This didn't start on Sunday. They have been contemplating for years.
Yeah, City and Chelsea didn't need to be there in the first place. The oil clubs probably have the least to lose in fairness
Barcelona don’t want inWould be funny to see only Madrid and Barca left.
Vermin like Woodward will always land on their feet. He'll probably get his spot back. And to think some of these clowns including Woodward have resigned their posts on the Uefa committee. Fecking happy days. We need to drive these cnuts out of our club now
We already look scummy whether we pull out or not. The damage has been done.We will look so scummy if we don't pull out of this.

Ornstein's as good a source as you're going to get in football journalism. Former head honcho at BBC sport, now with the Athletic.yeah one relatively unknown Twitter user isnt enough for me to be convinced our shithouse owners won't be in this till the end
They didn't just propose it though, did they? They/people in their clubs were leaving organisations in preparation to begin this ESL.punished for what exactly? proposing something that wasn't sanctioned and withdrawing
I agree that this is likely what will happen but that's what I mean in terms of hoping they receive a bit more punishment. I don't think the fans will continue to punish them with voices of dismay, they'll forget about it next season.Unfortunately, I don't see anything else but the clubs being forgiven and this being forgotten about. I'd also wish for these teams to suffer the consequences, but at this point, there's no legal standing for sanctions against them. We can only hope that the fans continue to voice their dismay at these owners/execs and ensure that they aren't forgiven.
What punishment would you like?
Something to push Everton up the table?
Which is fair, so distributing more of the PL money to the rest of the footballing pyramid and away from these parasites - exactly what they were trying to get away from with this ESL - would be beautiful.Every player and fan was vehemently against this so the punishment has to be directed at the board.
This is what makes me convinced that this wasn’t just some negotiating ploy or anything like that, all those resignations. Surely they won’t be able to walk back into those jobs? I really do think this was just poorly thought out and the reaction to it was underestimated. I do not underestimate just how out of touch some of these people are.And to think some of these clowns including Woodward have resigned their posts on the Uefa committee. Fecking happy days. David Gill already took itVermin like Woodward will always land on their feet. He'll probably get his spot back.
Very likelyThat’s probably why they are withdrawing. They’ve been told the consequences.
Would be fecking awesome.Feck, hope this doesn't stop the law makers create a legislation to make that 50 +1 rule.

It's fecked right off back down after that so-called Super League bumpIf anything just watch ManUtd stock last few minutes.
You had me in the first half....Will be a shame if this falls apart by teams chickening out and withdrawing.
This was a real opportunity for the government to get involved and get rid of all these cnuts who have bought English football clubs over the last 20 years.
I follow a couple of techies, who were all for this. "Disruptive" they said.
AgreeCapitalism at it's most transparent; "...the next generation of fans don't like the sport so we must change it for the survival of the game..."
Small side note, we just so happen to profit obscenely from the solution to this "problem".
Please guys, take this example and use it whenever some shitehouse company from silicon valley tries to tell you they're "disrupting" something.
Noooooooo. Perez is that. Perez!!! Only him. Shhhh....Does it matter? We're the fecking organizers..
I knew I should have shorted it when we head Woody was integral in this.If anything just watch ManUtd stock last few minutes.
Naive if you believe that.Yanks think about money first and foremost and think that others also only think about money. They'll never get it. Never.
The same way they've ridden 16 years of saddling the club with mountains of debt and syphoning off millions in each of those years, by waiting for people (and especially the currently pearl clutching media) to inevitably get bored of protesting. Their family is set up for their lives and a dozen generations that come after them, off the back of this club, why would they give a toss about this now? Let alone enough to sell up and head back to the states for a penny less than the club's billions in market value. How the feck are they going to backtrack on all the legacy fans stuff? The Glazers are DONE.
Ye seemed to be one user simply promoting herself. None Of the usual suspects have backed up that “insider knowledge “yeah one relatively unknown Twitter user isnt enough for me to be convinced our shithouse owners won't be in this till the end

Possibly as i said it will be a shame if this all fizzles out with no real change happening as a result of it.That’s probably why they are withdrawing. They’ve been told the consequences.
Very much. Do you have any doubts ? Seriously? The withdrawal is not due to the ban threat from uefa or PL but it's purely from fans protest.Still want to stick by this one?
So yeah. You're just thinking of yourself. They didn't just propose it though, did they? They/people in their clubs were leaving organisations in preparation to begin this ESL.

Excellent post.Hats off to Chelsea fans for their protests today. And good that Chelsea are retiring.
Great respect to Bayern Munich and Dortmund who could see the wrong thing in this league from the beginning. I will forever have respect for them for their courage and insight to dare to say no and risk standing outside this league.
