Aliens are in control of my tagline & location
They don’t get it do they. So desperate to be relevant. So desperate to win at all costs.

They have happily sold their club, their soul, their History, their traditions for a bit of success. Assuming they don’t mind having their club rebranded (which they don’t appear to), you could argue they have won the lottery, being one of the few clubs in world football who have benefited from billionaire ownership.

What they fail to understand is these people are killing football. The oil barons and small nations buying up football clubs and killing competition is what’s driving the “old school elite” to push for ESLs and redrawing of the rules. FFP proved powerless, individual Football Associations have been powerless. Governments have been idle - and this is the result.

Football as we know it is on the precipice and these clowns are crowing because “they” have just won another League Cup.
I agree with what you are saying, and yet there is a large element which would happily see the Glazers sell to the Saudis.

I'm guessing they are all devastated about last nights result due to their hatred of UEFA?

Opposite, it's great to be in their final despite the shite thrown at us from the American cartel clubs. When you talk about souless and ruining football, look no further than the glazers and fsg trying to stifle competition.

Weren't City part of the ESL too? It's not just the Glazers and FSG that are the ones conspiring to stifle competition.

Yeah, I know they will win it (will they) but let's have as much fun as possible,
Chelses wins 1-2
Got what we deserved with that team selection. feck all.
Edit: Aguero, Mendy, Torres, Sterling and Ake should be nowhere near our starting 11. Put the fecking league to bed please Pep.
Thanks a lot Aguero.
All on pep this (and aguero) Why on earth did he change the side. The final isn’t until the end of the month...
Just play our best side for an important game
How fukin bent is this game now
That was close to being a fecking disgraceful performance! Nobody played well, and I think we were even worse when Foden and Gundogan came on.
On a day we could have won the title... dreadful Cty, fecking dreadful!
I said months ago the league would end up very close. We still need a win.
Anyone slagging off the manager or the team after that is out of order.
fecked over by Sergio's antics and then by the referee/VAR.
We go again.
Absolute fecking shambles, Pep gifting the game to Chelsea for a shit line up. Why does he always do it, makes it more difficult for ourselves. Shit performances all round, can't think of a motm. Shit City
Play your strongest team for feck sake, what is Pep on about the league is the most important is it bollocks when you change 9 players absolute joke
Utter fecking wank and these nob heads wonder why they don't get picked every week
Inexcusable from Pep
Five at the back, one in midfield, for the whole game
Disgusting penalty from Sergio too
Given them such a shot in the arm for the final. feck right off.
feck off Aguero. Thanks for the memories but that was awful.
feckin dreadful, what our greatest ever striker was thinking god only knows
Chelsea much better side but feck ups by Kun, Rodri and a bent ref are what cost us.
Pep, Aguero and Taylor can all get fecked after that
Awful performance but well be champions before we play again

I've never known a sense of entitlement like it.

They are winning the league, probably the CL too, and yet they are having tantrums and calling the players/manager a 'disgrace'.

Let the overreacting begin!!!!
Garbage. Thank feck the league didn't depend on it.
Not counting on us to win a game just counting on the Scum to drop points.
They have beaten us twice now. 3rd time lucky, we will beat them in the CL final, I have no doubt.
Well they wanted it more, advantage Chelsea.
Tuchel knows how to beat Pep, upto Pep to find solutions.
We’ve learnt a few things from that game. Sterling can’t be trusted to finish chances in big games, Sergio is finished and without Bernardo we look a different team.
Not worried about the final, we’ll have our strongest team out.
Pep: "I want the league won as soon as possible and therefore I am making 9 changes'.
Great manager and also a dickhead at times.
Some players (we all know who) are just not fit to wear this jersey. A dent in the camp for the CL final but we're champions as it is without confirmation. United to play three times before we play again. They won't win all 3. We'll be mathematical champions before Friday
Absolute shit again by Pep against Chelsea. Better not feck about with the team in the CL.
Mendy is absolute shit and shouldn’t play another game
I cannot believe people can have a go at Pep.
2-0 and it’s over he can’t know what one of all time greats is going to do when it most matters
Chelsea look strong
Fearing the final
????? We gave them a game twice with that weakend team and that team is nowhere near as good as our first team. If anything its give me confidence going into the final.
A feck up that puts under so much more pressure than we should have leading up to the final now.
Hoping we can get a favour off anyone playing the Rags in the next 3 games
So rags win the next 3 thats only 4 behind
People keep saying its over, its not.
What a fecking disgraceful selection.
Not so long ago a pundit (forget which..Shearer?) said City's 2nd Xl could challenge for the Top 4... I think today's performance has put that idea to bed..

I think that Guardiola, knowing well that the league is pretty much wrapped up in all aspects but mathematically, decided to test a weird formation and rest almost all starters, thinking "if we win, cool, if we don't, it's not the end of the world". Imagine if he played his starting XI against Chelsea and lost? This would be a huge psychological blow against City and advantage to Chelsea going into the CL final.

Still, this game is a good example that City's bench is not an amazing team that could win anything. Take out De Bruyne, Gundogan, Foden and so on, City already significantly drops level. Sterling, Aguero and Jesus proved today that, right now, they deserve the bench. And Cancelo declined in recent games while Zinchenko grew and is playing better than Cancelo now.

Nothing will ever top them completely losing their rag because their title party was delayed due to our protests

Thank feck Mende, Ake, sterling, Torres, Aguero, Jesus will be nowhere near the starting XI for the UCL final
So we lost, without, walker, stones,z, KDB,Fernandinho, Bernardo phil, or Mahrez starting.
Who do they start who didn't start today?
Anthony Taylor, come out and explain why that's not a penalty from Zouma
He'll just hide under the nearest stone.
Would want to concede first against this lot, could easily be picked off. Chelsea weren’t at full strength today either.
Tuchel knows how to beat Pep. We won’t be winning CL.
He's only ever beaten him twice
You’re giving Pep far too much credit there.
He fecked up his tactics in a big game yet again. The fact Foden and Gundog did feck all after coming on shows the system doesn’t work.
Your right
He’s a serial loser let’s sack him
Solskaer ,Tuchel see the pattern..

Tuchel (sp?) post match summed it up. You need some luck and some ref decisions to go your way. And the most important part ”it gives us more confidence” for the final.
They will NOT beat us 3 times in one season. No way .
If Pep fecks about again they will
Two defeats will have him thinking he has to do something completely new next time
We must be underdogs now
Perhaps that suits us better.
There’s no advantage for Chelsea. They’ve played against a weakened City team twice in three weeks now. If our first team played today and struggled to break them down, then that is a real physiological advantage.
All I heard about the fa cup game is how Chelsea had stopped a lacklustre city’s quadruple. Chelsea’s side wasn’t at full strength today either but I agree with your last point.
NONE OF THEM.
Make them hand their wages back.
We've lost more games than the rags now and lost 4 at home

Hope Glorified Burnley wins CL
Jesus christ what am i seeing on here. fecking hell.
"Tuchel has peps number"
"we are going to lose the final"
Get a grip ffs.
Tuchel twice has beaten our SECOND TEAM! not the first one. They are a glorified BURNLEY.
Tuchel has beaten us twice when we have not used the formation that has won us so many games this season, He hasnt come up against a full force Man city yet. 4-3-3 is the formation we are undefeated with in the champions league not this mess we played tonight.
A bernardo and Gundogan midfield changes the whole game. Mahrez changes things also he has their full back on toast we know this. Foden will have Azpilicueta on toast to. Stop panicking over this game.
Watching Chelsea today they are not that good, they are not a PSG or Dortmund. they press yes but if you have press resistant midfielders this game changes, if you have a fluid front three this game changes. we will win the champions league final maybe 2 nil or 3 nil.
Madrid hurt chelsea when modric and Kross were able to get out of the press if they were younger madrid wouldve punished them. we have Gundogan and bernardo two of the best press resistant players in the world to come into this team including KDB. i was worried going into this game thinking chelsea were some amazing team but they struggled against our second team again.

If you want to win the league you don't make 9 changes.
2-3 changes and get the game won.
Gives Chelsea more confidence going into the champions league final aswell
..
strange one today, weird selection and intensity- what was Sergio doing?
Dont rely on us to stop utd we couldn’t stop a bottle at the minute ffs
Don't rely on us to stop United?!? Eh?!?
(previous post by Leicester fan, but this guy does not see it)
..

Just need Pep to stop fecking about and play our best team at Newcastle as usually it’s a tough game there for us and they have hit some form.
Rags play 3 times before then and I expect them to win at Villa, beat a Leicester team who have collapsed and beat the Dippers so be just 4 behind us when we play Friday but win that and it’s done.
Reckon Rags will win all 3
Pressure back on again
..
I'm feckin pissed the feck off. One last positive..... We've got another opportunity for ManUre to hand us the title by getting beat by the Dippers at Old Toilet. It's scant consolation, after a brilliant week was thoroughly ruined by taking the piss today. :-(
..
On the plus side that was Chelsea at full strength against our mostly 'B' team ;)
..
United need 7 points from 9 to keep it alive for them.
7 points from Villa a, Leicester h, Liverpool h, this run of games between tomorrow and next Saturday, so in 6 days only.

no fecking way they do 7 points imo.
They need nine unless they win each game about 3-0.

However, I'm fuming with the whole show. Nonsensical formation, players not good enough, showboating at penalties and then not safeguarding a point to edge us closer. Totally unprofessional from start to finish. From the lot of 'em!
...
Up the Villa
..
very worried about the final now, can't see us beating this team with pep in charge
feck OFF RAG BASTARD

An open letter to United fans

If you were one of the people who protested on Sunday, thank you.

Thank you for the bottom of my blue heart.

You see, I was so nervous for last night.

Had we won the title on Sunday, I really feared our players would be distracted.

Celebrating, the hunger quelled.

And it would cause us to underperform last night.

I wouldn’t have blamed them, that’s human nature.

But it could have cost us a champions league.

But then you green and gold Norwich fans rocked up on Sunday.

You showed you aren’t happy that the Glazers have only bought scrappy upstarts on the cheap.

Pogba, Ibra, Maguire, Falcao, Van Persie, Di Maria, Sanchez…and other little prospects.

You showed that you will protest your unhappiness at the fact that City don’t matter to you, so much so you wanted to ensure they didn’t win a title on Sunday.

Well United Supporters, I for one thank you.

Thank you for delaying the inevitable, which now allows us to play in a champions league final.

Pat yourselves on the back, we thank you for stopping us from getting distracted before last nights game.

Post your thanks below lads, let them know how much we appreciate it.

It's unbelievable how many of them are crying because Sterling didn't get his penalty, when he should have had a straight red earlier in the game. It's almost as baffling as some of them claiming the club is now self-sustained. Fielded their 500 m pound B-team today, Pep the genius has essentially thrown the game to not reveal his "CL-tactics" to Tuchel.

Another one:

Why does no one claim to care about Manchester City?

Why are we so insignificant and why can’t we get respect from rival fans?

Why does no one care?

Now and again I read RAWK and United Cafe for a laugh and had lots of interactions with United and Liverpool fans the last 24 hours and you wouldn’t believe how many don’t care! They even tell you they don’t care just to ensure they don’t care. Twitter is the same as well apparently, it’s gone from constantly telling us how it’s all about money and then telling us they don’t care.

They even point out the fact that the trophies we win are hollow which is correct isn’t it? As far as I am aware they are all hollow but it’s all very strange how they only go on about that particular specification on the trophies and not what it is made out of.

Does anyone else have major self esteem issues that the success we enjoy is fake? I did not realise this to be the case and I feel I have been cheated in all the amazing memories created and shared with family and friends over the last 13 years has been one huge lie. It’s like being told the man you’ve called Dad all your life is not on your 18th birthday.

Just wondering if anyone would like to create a support group as until we get every United and Liverpool fan to care about our success, I cannot enjoy our success and there’s a lot of people to convince as so many care enough to tell us they don’t care.

I mean, I don’t really care about Emmerdale but i don’t repeatedly tell people I don’t care about Emmerdale as that would imply I do care.

It’s all very confusing.

I genuinely don't really care how many leagues or CLs they win with the oil money. The only thing that would annoy me is if they did the quadruple.

I worry more about Liverpool reaching 20 or 7.

This is easily the best comment on their post match thread:

For me, this result irrevocably severs the relationship I had with this club.

I am through with supporting City as I am simply not interested in corporate footballl when it entails playing a deliberately weakened side in this manner. This is what Colin Schindler wrote warned us about.

From now on I will follow local non-league sides near me. Couldn’t give a feck about either the premiership or champion’s league if it gets won like this.

And another one:
Our Owner
I would like it on record that I love our owners.
Not just for what they’ve done on the pitch, but off it too.
What they’ve done for Manchester and the people that live there.
The endless charity work they do, the development of Manchester, things like ‘walking football’ that gets the older generation out and interacting, exercising, regardless of what football club they support, one of many many more.
How our owners offered the stadium as a refuge for people after the Manchester bombings.
How our owners have opened up the stadium as a covid vaccine centre.
The list goes on and on..
They have invested in Manchester City, they have invested in Manchester.
Are they perfect? Nope.
Am I? Nope.
Are you? Nope.
But one thing they aren’t, is money grabbing parasites like the other lot (Yanks).
Now the next bit is extremely important.
Gary RATBOY Neville does not speak for me. SPITTY Carragher does not speak for me.
Sky do not speak for me.
Neither do the rest of the media.
Bunch of fecking hypocrites the lot of em.
“We” the City fans speak for us and no one else.
I feckING LOVE OUR OWNERS!!!

Views on the Sterling tackle ?
Here we go
Yellow my arse
feck off Alty Tony you rag prick
Looked ugly that. Thankfully no red
Could be off here. All because he can’t control a football.
wtf is Sterling doing
That’s not a red you fecking bell ends.
Stupid challenge
feckoff neville
Really dumb
ugh that was so poor to give away
Lucky boy Raheem.
If they’re any Blues at the ground can you “peacefully” throw some piss at Neville.
Thanks
Well Ratboy wanted red
Ratboy wanted a peaceful protest!
Sterling almost in trouble....not a good tackle
Good position for them...
If that’s a red, then just about every challenge Rudiger does is a red.
Fücking prick Ratboy
He says that every slightly iffy tackle we do, that "Ohhhhhhhhh" shit.
Neville and Tyler working for Chelsea tv tonight
Silly tackle, not only because it could have been a red card had Werner’s foot been planted, but it gives a free kick away in a dangerous area.
I could easily see that as a red though...
Jesus feck that was lucky...wtf was he thinking

rubbish.

every club can look at half a dozen results every season as games that they should have won. Man City will be exactly the same.

we were never in a title race this season. We have progressed, and are a far better team than last year.

absolute BS to say we have “pissed away the title” it’s laughable.

Ive left out other games where we've dropped points because i know we cant win every game. However, Ive only mentioned the ones where we would have won if we bothered to turn up. We didn't drop points in these days because we were outclassed but because we couldn't be arsed to turn the heat up against sides fighting relegation.

It is a bottle job, make no mistake.

bottle job!

this is a team that have come from behind and won more points from losing positions than any I can remember and are on a terrific away run.

honestly, your post is a joke.

It also means you are not giving credit to the team and the manager for the improvement that they have made.

Get a grip. Bottle job. Laughable.

Wtf are you on ?

If we bottled the title this season then isn't it obvious we've made progress compared to last season because we were no where near winning the league. Me saying we bottled it this year no way means we haven't made progress.

Why do they keep saying Chelsea’s first team beat their reserves.
LITERALLY FIVE players who didn’t start for Chelsea will start the final.
Thiago, Mount, Chilwell, Havertz, Jorginho.

Strange as on Sunday most of them were shouting about how we only did it to stop them winning the league.
