I really do think the best thing to do with Pogba is risk losing him on a free.

Ok it might sound crazy and it might backfire but I just think we could try complete the rebuild this summer.

Get in a starting CB and CDM and then the team would be very very good.

I'd fancy our chances of Pogba wanting to stay.

The only way I'd sell Pogba this summer is if we signed a CDM and another top Midfielder

That won't happen so I say go BOLD and risk it.
No matter how good our team may become with all these aforementioned acquisitions, Pogba will still gladly leave for a team like PSG on a free transfer.

Potentially being his final big contract, he’ll want the biggest paycheque possible and surely PSG will give him a signing on bonus as it’s a free transfer. Hence paying him more than we probably would over the course of his next contract.

I think we should sell him now and reinvest the funds right away this summer only.

My view is based strictly on a team like PSG though. Who seem to be genuinely interested in signing him. If they weren’t then our risk would’ve been worth it. But until they are, a player like Pogba will happily switch allegiances from one very very good team to another.

Im reading this guy is available for just 30 million euros??? Does that mean he’s shit because no way United ever get this good a deal on a good player.

People who keep saying he'd choose PSG must surely realise the amount of midfielders they have? Going there will not help progress his career.

We are in contact with both player and club I guess. I guess we are mostly waiting to see if Camaviga is interested or not. Then it will move very fast
well Bouhafsi said a week ago or so that we'd meet with Camavingas entourage. So I guess we're in contact with both Rennes and Camavinga to discuss a deal and convince him of the project.

‘’Progressing in direct contact’’

What does it mean? Placing bid?
We've not only initiated talks with both Rennes and Camavinga's camp, but we've also gotten encouragement over getting the deal done. The progress is directly related to the fact that Rennes named their price to kick off the negotiations.

Naming the price is encouraging as it means that Rennes are willing to negotiate with a reasonable starting price.

Especially with them also in for Pogba.
They have Verratti, Parades, Herrera, Gueye, Rafinha, just signed Gini and have an exciting player called Xavi Simons coming through.
This is all before you add a potential move for Pogba.

Camavinga is better off coming to us.

I don't watch the french league but from what I've heard he wasn't as great this last season like he was in the 19/20.

Still for 30M it's a no brainer, world-class potential.
Yeah he'd be a squad player at first who should get plenty of games.

That figure is low enough that you'd figure one wouldn't be too amiss to speculate we'd have agreed immediately.
Yeah you wouldn’t expect us to haggle over that price. Just a ‘yeah that’s good for us’ shake hands and bobs ya uncle.

You’d like to think anyway

I would expect this is one of those no brainer transfers that are more about where the player wants to go, rather than who wants him. I was certain Arsenal was going to sign him, until he came out and said he wasn't interested.

If we get him for 30m euro or around this can well be our best business in many years and perhaps one of the bigger steals in the Premier League in a while. Get it fecking done I am so hyped if this window goes as I now fully expect it to go :devil::devil:

What’s the chances that other clubs start to show interest in him as well now, especially for that price tag?

Literally is a steal.

Right. It almost seems like a prelude to an announcement. At that price about four-thousand clubs would put in a bid unless they all knew 'oh, United got him for a good price'. Knock on wood.

I would expect this is one of those no brainer transfers that are more about where the player wants to go, rather than who wants him. I was certain Arsenal was going to sign him, until he came out and said he wasn't interested.
That's definitely going in his United wiki entry.

If we got him for around 30m Euros I'd piss directly into my own eyes. Too good to be true surely.
I like this. Alludes to boner talk in a subtle, creative way. Certainly a difficult feat to achieve without such phallic status - 9/10.

Yeah he is very reliable when it comes to French Football (think he first broke the Martial stuff) so will expect him to tweet an update shortly on our meeting with his people that was meant to have taken place this week
