I’d say PSG mostly likely, with Juve and Chelsea maybe having an outside chance.

I’d love us to pull something out of the bag for one season, but I think it would probably go against everything against what Ole is trying to build at the club if he just went signing players on a whim, worlds best player or not.
I think Ole would grasp at the chance to have Messi in the team for a couple seasons, even with ideals you can make exceptions for exceptional circumstances such as this. And I don't think it would be going against what he's trying to do in any case.

Absolutely mind boggling that there’s even a discussion about a club being bailed out financially by its league because it was financially irresponsible like a spoiled entitled child that never had to suffer the consequence of his actions. Simeone is doing God’s work with Atletico.

I mean Ole brought in Cavani as a short term solution so I don’t think he’d be against it. Thinking of the marketability etc I’m sure that someone at United is crunching numbers to see if it’s viable.

PSG makes the most sense though especially if it softens the blow of Mbappe going to Madrid.

I think if you have any ambition, you go for it and see what ends up happening. To not even go for it because there's a belief the player won't be interested is silly. As the great Michael Scott once said, you miss 100% of the shots you don't take.

Messi leaves Barcelona. Joins PSG. Allows PSG to save face when selling Mbappe to Madrid.

Perez must be close to a heart-attack inducing orgasm.
Wouldn't mind if Perez offers Messi a contract just for shits and giggles.

Imagine Messi, Sancho, Cavani, Greenwood, Martial, Rashford, Bruno, Pogba in our midfield and attacking options.
And ship 6 goals every other match?

Messi is even more useless than CR when it comes to defensive work. Playing him and any other 3 and you are guaranteed to lose the midfield battle. PSG may be in for a shock trying to fit him, Neymar, Mbappe in the same team. The MSN worked because he worked more back then and Suarez worked like a mad man for a striker.

Hope we're no where near this. Would be absolutely ridiculous wages.

Not even a chance for the "Time To Say Goodbye" rendition from Brightman and Bocelli?? That's a bit harsh.

It's Messi, the world's best player. I have a feeling that even Ole cannot say no to this once Woodward/Murtough already got their starry eyes.

If Man Utd were still intent on being the 'worlds biggest club' they should make a move for him. Although, PSG looks likely.

PSG can surely afford his wages if they can offload Mbappe to Real for a hefty sum.

Do Real have the money, though?

Deepthroating information to Howard Nurse.
I think it’s very convenient for both sides to blame La Liga personally. Messi will want a CL before he’s finished and PSG are more likely than Barca and will offer him a shed ton. For Barcelona they need to move on - they should have taken the money last year. This way Messi can say he never wanted to go and the new Barca board can’t be held responsible as it’s the evil La Liga president that did it. I don’t think it’s posturing - I think he’s PSG bound.

If united don’t enquire I’d be surprised: united and Adidas can make it happen

Really? Despite every man and his dog saying they couldn't afford him (and shouldn't)?

Should have sold him a couple of years back. Be a couple of hundred MILLION better off.
I hear you, it’s a lot of money but it seemed like letting Messi go was never an option and knowing how much he means to La Liga they would’ve figured something out. Some say this is a power play from Barca to force Tebas’s hand but it’s all wishful thinking

Madrid must be in Dreamland at the moment. Perez can kill 2 birds with one stone by having Barcelona's greatest player leave them while they're in ruins, while opening up a move for Mbappé.
