It would be huge, did a bit of digging round and found this.

Regarding Herta's superlicence situation, these are our workings after some kind corrections - correct these further if we're wrong and we'll update:

  • 2018 Indy Lights - 2nd = 12pts. However, 0pts were awarded under the 2018 regulations, as this championship lacked a minimum of 12 drivers
  • 2019 IndyCar Series - 7th = 4pts
  • 2020 IndyCar Series - 3rd = 20pts
  • 2021 IndyCar Series - 5th = 8pts
Best three of four years, 32 points out of 40 required

Please note that Herta could still achieve 40 points this year via the following clause:

A Free Practice Only Super Licence holder will be granted one additional point per FIA Formula One World Championship event following successful completion of at least 100 km during a free practice session, provided that no penalty points were imposed. A maximum total of 10 such additional points may be awarded per driver for free practice sessions over a 3 year period.

Yes, 21 years old. 6 race wins and 7 pole positions I think. If I was him, I'd stay in indycar till I won the drivers title. Or not both with F1 at all. He can have a stellar career in USA.

Risk throwing away a very promising career to sit in the middle field / back of grid team. See Romain Grosjean. Stayed in a F1 backwater team far too long and wasted his best years.
 
Bottas on Pole.
Lewis looks really fast, the race is looking like it could be excellent.
Lewis wont have it all his own way , the merc in dirty air is not always that good.
Max will not be happy, he would have wanted to be in front on Bottas.
 
Mercs clearly faster and other than maybe Leclerc, Hamilton should be easily able to get through. Norris was a second slower! Perez as usual nowhere.
 
Mercs again the fastest cars on the track by far. Leclerc did well. He's got the upgraded engine doesn't he? Surprised McLaren were so poor. Not surprised Perez was poor as he always is.

I understand that. However, the way I see it is this - he has been dominant here enough to have a great chance of winning. The points gap between 1st and 2nd is 7 points, whereas the gap in points decreases between positions if you go further down.

I understand he has a great pace and it’s a good track to overtake but realistically he probably wouldn’t catch Bottas or Verstappen. Let’s assume Max wins for the sake of the argument and Lewis makes it back to second. He loses 7 points. Conversely Lewis doesn’t take the penalty and finishes first - he gains 7 points.

However if they took it on a track where he is already worse than Max because it favours RB, even if he finishes 6th, he would lose 10 points compared to second. Basically, to lose out the 7 points he is always scheduled to lose, he is better off doing so on a track he is worse at.

Let’s say Lewis takes the penalty here, comes second. Then the next track favours red bull, so he comes second anyway. That ends up as -14.

Let’s say he doesn’t take it here and wins. He goes into the next race which favours red bull at +7. He then takes the penalty at that track. To get to the same net position. (-14), and assuming Max wins, he would need to place only 8th to equal a net position of -14.

Does anyone think Valteri backed out of the last lap? Max had already finished and was 3rd, so Valteri was on pole, beating Lewis would have done nothing but push Lewis back 1 place.
 
Think Lewis should be able to the podium. 3rd or even 2nd depending on where bottas is.

I expect max to breeze past bottas on first lap.

Not sure if that's good news for lewis or not. Cause in the dry the Mercs are rapid, but mixed conditions and no DRS may mean he gets stuck behind someone like Alonso.
 
This should be an epic rain, light rain and track should be able to take slicks pretty soon.
Bottas and Max into turn 1! Lewis fighting to get from 11th, he might take risks.
The winner could well be the first to take the risk and go on slicks.
Not ruling put Norris or Sergio.
