Poor awareness. He seems to have no clue of what is going in around him. Always shaky at the back. Had a poor game today and against arsenal, among many others

Absolute garbage. I’ll be horrified if him or Telles are anywhere near the first team next season.

I know we have other issues but surely to god we can't go into next season with either this guy or AWB as our first choice RB?

I have a horrible feeling Dalot will still be starting next season. I think Shaw will be back in at LB.

One of them will be gone and I think it’ll be AWB. I don’t mind Dalot as a back up as he offers a bit more on the ball.. but certainly shouldn’t be starting.

Needs to practice his crossing so he gets at least one out of ten anywhere close to a teammate. It's a mystery to me how he can be so bad at this basic skill for a full back.

Thought he actually defended quite well today but mostly garbage going forward.

On the rare night of a good team performance, he didn’t get the memo.

Can't understand the hate here . He made 3 key passes and 2 of them were goals . It's a shame Ronaldo missed the most easiest chance else he would have ended up on 2 assists.

He is the only trying to get some balls to the box. Yes, a lot to be improved but definitely a player who can be worked upon.

Telles is hopeless though.

Get rid in the summer, not even good enough as a backup

How are people saying he played dreadfully?
I think he was good.
Made up their minds already. His defending was faultless tonight, and I would be very comfortable with him as our starting right back next season. There's clearly something for Ten Hag to work with.

Can someone just fly him out to LA for a week long class with Becks on crossing. Nothing else, just non stop crossing because he’s got no gauge on power whatsoever.

Weird performance, some things really great and some things really poor.

I watched him shirk from a 50/50 he looked favourite to at the edge of our own box - seriously don't know what goes on between his ears, this one. On the other hand, some nice passing

Out of his depth. Very GNev vs West brom like but every game. If AC Milan are still interested the club should fly him executive class

People think he's an attacking fullback just because he isn't completely clueless with the ball at his feet in his own half.
He's not. He's an okay defender that's a bit meh going forward, and a bit meh one on one.

His overall defensive game is alright, as is his build up play. His crossing is diabolical though.

Very mixed. As Neville said in the commentary his passes going forward in the first half were pretty good; just general carelessness was the issue.

Only 23 but i'm just not sure about him or AWB. Wonder if ten Hag will like him.

Thought he was okay tonight.

Feel like he tries a bit too hard going forward and tries to force it sometimes.. saying that he played a couple of nice passes tonight which created some opportunities. Needs to improve defensively.

I’m fine with him as back up.. shouldn’t be first choice though.

Some lovely passes for the first two goals. Baffling how people can come away thinking he had no impact going forward today.

One of hsi better performances I felt tonight, says it all he is gettign lots of crticism still....he simply isnt good enough to be a starting right back, would rather a youngster like Laird/Williams than Dalot and a new right back, as Bissaka is almost certainly off, Dalot is a far worse right back than Bissaka, who I actually still rate, but he hasnt doen well enough or progressed

Strange player. He can play some top quality forward passes, and then play absolutely dreadful crosses. Failed a few very simple passes, too. I think he is too inconsistent.

Would do well as a fly back with 3 steady defenders behind him. Although his crossing is dreadful it can be improved on because he has the right technique unlike AWB who possesses 0 technique and guile. Would keep him as second choice right back.

Alabama but always Wales in my heart
I have wanted him gone for some time but I do think ETH should have a free hand to shape his squad and with the amount of turnover that is inevitable with contracts expiring etc. Dalot is someone we probably cannot afford to let go this summer. I do hope that if he stays we do no more than trigger the +1 in his deal, he is heading into the 5th year of his contract and has done nothing to deserve an extension or pay raise so if he sticks trigger the 1 year and if ETH cannot fix his issues we can be rid next summer and not saddled with a 5 year deal on stupid wages like we normally are.

I’d keep him as a back up. Want Laird to get a proper chance under ETH

Thought he was ok-ish. Ultimately, he doesn't really look like he's anywhere near good enough.

Bit of a liability at times with some wasteful and terrible passes but occasionally very good too. Erratic and hard to be confident of. Him and wan bisakka are the weakest starters in our team

He needs to get better hold of his crossing, but every other aspect of his game is so better now, and more than good enough to give him another season. Defensively and with the ball.

He looks strong in the air, defends the back post very well against the high ball, shows enough presence at setpieces, looks much stronger one on one than he used to be, doesn't really get bullied that much, and gets himself in good positions to block crosses.

With the ball, his touch is secure, he passes quick enough, his combination play is good, he dribbles well, passes accurately down the line, picks his passes infield nicely with both feet, has the occasional switch in him, and looks like a goal threat when he gets a yard of space.

Despite the fact it's been a terrible season for everyone, the more I've watched him, the more I've seen him as a player worth backing. It's no surprise many refuse to see it. They have made up their minds already, or just struggle to recognize a good player when they see one.

You lot are out of your minds. It's like you guys get whipped into a frenzy and forget what you're actually seeing. He wasn great but was decent and played three quality balls.
