Charles engine has done 3 races and a sprint now, they will be bricking it but can’t change it without more penalties.

Horner making his usual winge about Russell and Perez. Such a miserable git.

Sainz was behind Max for starters. Guy is a proven bottler and would've finished behind anyway.
Like he bottled the first overtake? Grow up. Your comments are on a similar level as to Hobbers whenever he mentions Hamilton

38 points between them, even with Max having a DNF I don’t think Charles can catch him in a Ferrari, they nailed it today with him but they will feck up again at some point.
They really need to tell sainz he is a no2 this season and focus their strategy onnl maximising leclrecs points. Sacrifice sainz if you have to, screw up his race but get leclerc the points he needs. Also yeh the reliability would help, at the moment Ferrari f1 car is about as reliable as their road cars.

Sigh. Ferrari. Being a united and Ferrari fan hasn’t been great for a long time. This year I felt would be our best chance due to Merc shitting the bed and it looks like every race is going to feel nervy even when we have the pace.
At least they got the strategy right this time. Seems like they set up more for the race than qualifying which is why Le Clerc was so confident yesterday.

Good drive by Charles. His first overtake on Max was a great move. The rest were cakewalks.

Good drive by Mick as well, I hope he has a decent career in F1. But I don’t think he will come close to a WDC in his career.

Sainz had so much laps to overtake Max. Calm down with your RB bias.
Ah yes. Same Sainz who on fresher tires and with DRS was clueless against Max after a safety car in Canada recently.

Max is the best driver at the moment. The only bias here is from those refusing to acknowledge that and instead resort to calling him lucky.

Dipped in at times last season (probably watched 10 races in the last decade beforehand) but the Abu Dhabi race has really reignited my interest in F1.

I used to love watching Schumacher dominate in the Ferrari back in the day. Looking forward to every race at the moment.

I'm a Max fan and I can tell you that you are acting delusional here. Sainz was literally about to breeze by Max on the very straight where his engine blew. If it wasn't that lap, it would have been the next. Ferrari were flat out quicker today regardless of driver talent. Whatever happened in Canada is irrelevant to the facts of today's race.

Vettel looks absolutely sick of F1 having to drive that green shitbox around.

He may be the best driver but not the best car today. After the 1st pit stop round, didn't Sainz overtake Max easily? Why use Canada as a argument when it is a totally different track. So Max is lucky for today, listen to his interview and you know you are wrong.

Iam not a Max fan, but I have posted on few occasions that Max is maybe the best driver this year, he gets normally that little bit extra out of his car.
Not today Leclerc had him beat hand down and yes Max was lucky today just than has Lewis was with Sainz DNF
Getting lucky from a DNF, don't all driver get that ? Max got it today, was he not lucky also or does it not work like that ?

Gasly ruined his day as well. Think we need bigger penalties for ruining races like that.
Shame for Seb, I cant see him sticking around.

AM learning the hard way that copying the RB sidepods is pointless without copying their floor. Laurence Stroll needs to tap up adrian newey. Come to AM, design the f1 car and all of the road AM's as well. Your interested in Racing Yacht you say adrian? Yep i will buy a company and you can design racing yachts as well.

Basically bribe him like crazy.

Best moment of the race for me was Alonso finger wagging Tsunoda I believe it was? Hilarious to see.
Alonso is my driver of the season so far. If it wasnt for alpine incompetence and lack of reliability he would be a few points behind lewis in the drivers standings in 7th. Must have lost 60-70 points.

Its really confusing that yesterday max shot off in the distance and the ferraris after they stopped squabbling, couldnt get close. Cars are in parc fermme after the sprint so you cant really make many changes to them. We get a lower temperature today and the ferraris breeze by. Ok there was a 13 lap offset on tyres, but still. Its bizarre.

If ferrari were sandbagging during the sprint, you'd have to wonder why. Apparently leclrec was very confident he would win today in his post sprint interviews yesterday. Just strange.

I said after the sprint Max would walk this race and still thought that after a couple of laps.
Then it went down hill, no idea why his hards only lasted 13 laps or so , pitting Max that early was maybe what lost RB the race. Maybe a faulty set of hards ?? A bit of a wild one but you never know.
Ferrari sandbagging in the sprint, I would struggle to believe that, but agreed you have to wonder why they were so much faster today.

Temperature probably. Red Bull kinder on its tyres in hot weather. Ferrari much better when it's a bit cooler.

I think it’s not quite correct to say Max breezed off. Leclerc had that gap down quite significantly by the end.

Also, it seems the Ferrari was just faster around here then RB with a heavier car, a factor not as significant in the sprint race scenario.

Thought that was a very good race. Tactics played big part, and Ferrari guessed the tactics for once.

I feel really sorry for Sainz, Ferrari just can't get 1-2 this season.

Btw Leclerc overtakes this season have been magnificent. Last race with Hamilton, this race with Verstappen; he literally tricked Verstappen twice and he couldn't do anything about it, I was surprised how easy he made it look.

I personally don’t think Max was even fighting it today considering he normally takes defending to the extreme. He knew it was coming and said on the radio he couldn’t do anything before the first pass.

Leclerc does tend to be more of a fair driver but he’s had his run ins recently with Perez (crashed into Perez plus both going off track) and with Sainz who were both pushing to the limit.

We shall see when the pressure is on, we haven’t seen Leclerc in a championship fight during the latter stages.

Classic.

Alonso should be in a car that compete. Great driver.
Exactly and especially at the end of such a great career. I would absolutely love it if he was able to get on the podium as a minimum or even a race win. Would be well deserved.
