The record for maximum number of stops in a race is held by Alan Prost, who in Donington Park 1993 made 7 stops and still finished 3rd.
Ferrari gunning for the record

Only 15 secondsMax is like a pitstop ahead.
Thats a safe bet anyway.I'd be putting a bet on for Mercedes to finish ahead of ferrari in the constructors if I gambled
Max is faster? What race are you watching, lewis is setting fastest lap after fastest lapMax is lapping faster than the softs so far while managing tyres. And those softs will be used up by the last few laps anyway.
Rain or reliability the only things that could change this.
-Ferrari team strategist shaking a red, Ferrari emblazoned magic 8-ball-
‘What-a tyre shall we use next?’
-Hard-
‘We use-a the hard tyre now!’
‘But the Alpines have shown them to be shit?’
‘LISTEN TO THE MAGIC BALL’
There you goSo if it's so obvious to everyone that putting Leclerc on hards was stupid, why did Ferrari do it anyway? I mean, they're not that dumb, are they? Surely there was some kind of reason that made some kind of sense to whoever made that call? If so, what was it?
Everybody is kinda surprised tbh. My guess is they expected to go all the way without an extra pitstop? So if it's so obvious to everyone that putting Leclerc on hards was stupid, why did Ferrari do it anyway? Undercut everyone, Ferrari put hards on Leclerc who was cruising and lost this raceHow is max in the lead?!
Until 3 laps ago he was.Max is faster? What race are you watching, lewis is setting fastest lap after fastest lap
Too early for softs and couldn’t do medium again. They should’ve stayed out a bit longer to get into the window for softs like they did with Sainz. Instead they panicked and was forced to use hards. So if it's so obvious to everyone that putting Leclerc on hards was stupid, why did Ferrari do it anyway? I mean, they're not that dumb, are they? That would be daft. Fastest lap holder isn't a treat to anyone in the championship. Perez needs to focus on keeping Leclerc behind him.Red Bull should deffo pit Perez with a few laps left to get the fastest lap
Well I full expect Leclerc to get ahead on the faster / fresher tyres. That would be daft. Fastest lap holder isn't a treat to anyone in the championship. Perez needs to focus on keeping Leclerc behind him.
Thought everyone wants to see one final showdown between max and lewisCan’t wait for everyone to moan about team orders when Russell pulls over for Lewis.
Yeah that never happenedCan’t wait for everyone to moan about team orders when Russell pulls over for Lewis.
No team orders, Lewis on newer softs the overtake was coming. Can’t wait for everyone to moan about team orders when Russell pulls over for Lewis.
