Yeah, it was to illustrate how reprehensible Aegon actually is - he bastards little kids and leaves them as bait in child fighting pits.

It also laid the side-story tension point between the White Worm (the lady with the worst accent ever) and Otto.
Did you all catch who the White Worm is?

I checked IMDB to confirm and it's definitely Mysaria, Daemon's girlfriend from the first few episodes

It's so obvious many people watch the tv shows with one eye on the TV and one eye on their phones
I know he's only trying to help but she doesn't even look any different :D it just tickled me

I'm just bad at matching faces. Living in Los Angeles, there were multiple times I've been in the same restaurant, airport, etc as famous actors and never even noticed who they were. Had to have someone else point it out. I also routinely miss making the connection between actors in one show to another (it's always friends and family pointing it out to me). I watch the show with my glasses on and never look at my phone, so I'm just bad at this
Good thing I missed the Tinder era, or I'd never have recognized a date from her pics!

It's all good my friend, we're just pulling your leg. If you're as bad as you say then you should be proud you made this one :D

Larys that absolute little perv!!

Wondered about the "you've been spending a lot of time with the queen" from Otto, but thought nothing of it, as I assumed it was probably all the scheming.
Then I had no clue why a prude like Alicent was comfortable enough to take off her shoes and put her feet up in the weirdo's presence as it's obvious she resents him. Next thing I know things escalated quick! Can't help but think of how manky the insides of his clothes get considering those folks don't tend to change a lot!

the dragons are kept in an underground pit. Remember the young prince walking in and seeing it in the dark hallway chained up?

She was being kept 'prisoner' in the castle, the kingsguard guy had to help her escape through a secret exit. I can only assume maybe the dragon guards didn't actually know she wasn't allowed to leave? maybe the kingsguard told them to move aside or killed them. I guess that's left open to the imagination.
The KG wasn't with her when she was breaking into the pit. He lost her in the streets with the crowd and she got pushed towards the pit for the ascension and then moved down to where the dragons are. And yeah would assume since it was a need to keep as much information to themselves no one would have informed the people at the pit since Rhaenys was unable to escape by herself from the castle.

That was a strange ending. What was the point of busting in with the dragon then? Just to show she could? If she was basically starting a war there she could have ended it straight away.

Episode felt a bit all over the place.

The weird daughter reminds me of the uni girl April that Mark dates in Peep Show. Also was weird seeing the kid from Shameless running round as two people.
Thought that too... Turns out there are actually two - twins.

Could complain about the latest episode ending or this or that but the simple truth is the character development is shite in comparison to GOT. I literally don’t give a toss about anyone in this show living or dying. The writing is complete piss.

This show roped me in big time towards the end. Time to rewatch it all.

It's done wonders to wipe the memories of ... well, you know what.
