The only team that matters
In 2008 Arsenal were top of the table and they came to OT for an FA Cup tie and we absolutely tore into them. Old Trafford was rocking , it was a great atmosphere and we battered them 4-0. I think it set down an important marker to them that we were going to chase them down.

City tonight have been so passive, it's a weakened Arsenal side and yet the atmosphere is shite and they seem so lethargic. They're at risk of blowing a big opportunity here.
1989 we played Arsenal in the first game of the season, Steve Bruce scored after 2 mins but the Stretford End were still laughing at the pre-match entertainment of a ball-juggling wanabee chairman, Neil Webb made his debut and scored ina 4-1 win, United won the FA Cup and were nowhere in the league that season

Arsenal haven’t played since last weekend and don’t play again until the one after. What’s Arteta doing?

If they lose this he’s dropped a massive bollock.

Psychological warfare ? He didn't wanna play his best 11, lose and risk affecting the team's morale. This way they can convince themselves they didn't play at full strength

Arsenal are 5 points clear of Man City.
But due to the sad passing of QEII in September the two teams haven't yet met in the PL. However on this showing (I know they are ahead) I can't see Man City getting two victories over Arsenal.

And tell all the players that played tonight that they’re the shit ones. Top management that.

I mean this game has been awful but I’d hardly say it suggests anything positive for Arsenal..

City have cruised it.

I know it’s been said a million time before but City atmosphere is genuinely awful.

The club really remind me of tech start up that has brought a social media following. Its all so hollow.

Will never get over how strange it is.

Well all the players that have played are first choice. Everyone has got minutes.

Arteta should have just started everyone together since they’ve all played anyway. Stupid really. They don’t even have a busy fixture list.

Hate this. It’s not up to the ref to stop this, blow the whistle and blow for the infringement

I dunno. I think the top 4 is closer than it looks because you two haven’t played each other yet. Either we and Newcastle are within touching distance of second or are in a title race if you take points off them.
Couple with with us throwing 6 points away in the first 2 games of the season and I think being 6 points ahead of us isn’t reflective of both teams qualities. Second half of the season is going to be veeeery interesting
You're def much closer now you finally have a proper manager and it will be interesting but I don't think theres gonna be a title race, Arsenal by 10 over City and then maybe 5 or 6 to you and Newcastle had I to guess.

City's 2nd choice keeper might be better than De Gea :nervous:
