Sancho is not even an option at this point. He's completely useless. As bad as Weghorst is, he contributes immeasurably more than Sancho.
Except goals. Of which Sancho has two since his return despite only starting three games.

The Weghorst experiment has to end.

He should be an option off the bench in most games.

I think it's obvious that we miss Eriksen. We cannot control the games anymore. Something in the middle of the park is hindering it. Right now Bruno seeks the ball way too deep, which leaves us without anyone further up the pitch capable of setting up the forwards. We are far too reluctant on the likes of Antony and Weghorst to link the midfield and attack together in transition.

In addition, Eriksen is far less erratic and mistake prone than Bruno. Having Bruno and his high risk way of playing deeper in the field is too risky.

What if the manager does believe this 11 are most likely to win the game?
What could he possibly be basing that on? If he does believe that, he believes it in total defiance of all possible evidence.

Worried for him a bit, only a bit though. This can quickly unravel at a huge club
A week after winning a trophy… some of reaction to Luckypool’s win is so over the top.

I'm stunned the word sacked keeps coming up. ETH isn't even close to getting sacked right now

Thank God our manager isn't a wet wipe like most the folk commenting here since the match started

The Agenda's are clear to see. Now the hell does you even enjoy supporting the team. Must be unenjoyable

Needs to stop running some of these guys into the ground. Absolutely no way Casemiro, Varane, Bruno can be starting every single game if we are trying to compete for 2 more trophies
we have seen what happens when we play our second string, they just aren’t good enough. it’s not like he has many decent options with players he’s trusts to do a job. Blame the shithouse glazers for their lack of recruitment.

Football and some fans are just ridiculous and spoilt snowflakes, yes we had a very bad day at the office and it HURT losing in that manner to our fiercest rivals. But if anyone can’t see that we are on an upward trajectory with ETH, then they are plain thick, with the right investment he will have us winning silverwar.

The alternatives to the players you mentioned are Maguire, McTominay and McTominay/Fred.

When the drop off is as drastic as that it's no surprise he feels like he can't rotate.

Right decision to start the same team and it seems to have lit a fire under Antony.

Good subs as well.

The worst thing that's happened today was that bullshit goal Betis scored.

We’ve had a fair amount of games where we look like scoring every time we attack. It’s fecking great he’s got us playing like that.

He managed to get great reaction from players in 2nd half. Things seemed to be going down hill after their equalizer but he managed to re-group the team again and get them going and actually win by a big result. Credits to him and the players.

We can now put that Liverpool game behind our back and focus on what's coming next.

Great response to a freak result on Sunday. Glad he went with the same team. It didn't fully work but at least the lads have that game to put it behind them. Hopefully on to a good result at Southampton now.

That's just the Poch and Ole fans piping up after having to be quiet for several months. They'll feck off again after a few more wins.

Problem is we are crap at the actual scoring part

Anyways, nice response tonight. Didn't think we were particularly sharp or good tonight, Betis were terrible. But that match could have turned into a shitshow after the equalizer and DDG near howler, and we didn't let it affect us.

The drop might not be as drastic as you believe. We lost 0-7 with Casemiro, Varane, Bruno.
