Did well but is the kind of player that would do better for a team who are controlling the play more and spend a lot of time in and around the opposition box. If we can sort out a proper CF in the summer and a permanent partner for Casemiro then I think Sancho has a chance

I wrote off Rashford last season and look at how that went. Not making the same mistake twice, next season, come on son.

Was genuinely happy he scored the penalty today, hopefully the Euro miss will finally be done and dusted from his mind. Played well too!

Really really pleased for him and the penalty. There's a part of me that thinks he never really got over the horrific abuse after the Euros. Really hope I'm proven wrong and this can kickstart his career.

Good display. Lovely skill to beat a man, put Rashford through with a lovely pass and generally retained it comfortably

He did well coming on today. Was pretty nervous for his penalty considering the last one he took was in the Euros final, also at Wembley. Took the penalty very well.

His attitude was much better. He tracked back, and pressed more than usual. Looked confident on the ball too.

So happy that he scored the penalty after the euro miss and his recent run for us.

Exactly don’t write the kid off just yet.

Better workrate today. He’s still got a lot to prove but, after converting his pen, he lives to fight another day.

Much more Forest Sancho than Sevilla Sancho, thankfully.

One thing he'll always have is absolutely world class level composure. Looks like he's dicking around in his back yard taking a penalty in a shootout. Hopefully he gets himself in more positions to be able to take advantage of that.

Ballsy move, stepping up to take that. I really feared for him. That one got the biggest cheer in our house.

You look at his cameo today, all the body feints, the first touch, dribbling etc... And get reminded of how good a footballer he can be, then whenever he got the ball inside the box he just tried to dribble past 3 players, it’s baffling.

Coolly taken pen though, hope he exorcised a few demons with that.

No need for this today. He came in and did the job he was asked to do.
Relax I was joking, but to be serious for a second he wasn’t great and he wasn’t shit today, he did alright after coming on. Ran at people and beat a man a few times which was nice but then in the box he was trying to take on 3 people and shoot instead of just hitting it first time, he’s a weird mix of quick feet and bad decisions. Good penalty but we’ll see if he kicks on next week, today was not a day to judge him against tired legs.

That's the spirit.
He has everything to prove. One decent cameo doesnt change anything. He has been dire hos entire time here. He wasnt sublime today either, he was decent. Decent is much better than his game before that tough

That was a decent cameo? Did you guys not see Mitoma and March? That’s how wide attackers should play. Good pen though. We need to replace him eventually.

I was acceptable in the eighties
He did very well when he came on and it was a good response after Thursdays horror show.

There’s a really decent player in there somewhere, but he’s nowhere near the starting eleven. He can’t be trusted. Can he earn that trust? I’m not sure, but I hope he can prove a of people wrong. I felt sick when he stepped up for his pen. Miss that and he was all but finished.

There are legitimate questions about his attitude, but I remain hopeful.

Brightons wing play is very, very good. Up there with some of the best in the league, and I’m not just talking about the wingers. The way they work it out wide is impressive.

They move the ball box to box as good as anyone. Lack the quality at the end though

I think this is fair and this is what we wanna see Sancho do more often than not especially given how much we paid for him and what he's paid. We need players who take risks and make things happen

So, he is basically a sub, who should be brought on at the very end of a game, against tired legs.
And also if we go to a penalty shoot out.
For the transfer fee and wages, we need more from him.

He was good today. More of a sense of urgency about him, and improving confidence. If it were my choice I’d certainly give him another season. He’s s lovely footballer when he’s on his game, and could be a real key to unlocking defences if he can develop from here. I have worried sometimes that he doesn’t really care — appearances like today are evidence that he does. Good on you Jadon.

Everybody knows we need more from him. But if he can string together some good performances from the bench then that’s progress and a step on the right direction.

That was one mean badass penalty. Hard as feck.

Just like watching Scholes hammering those to the net in his younger days.
