Awful. Just an awful awful player.

Sooner he's gone, the sooner we can forget he was ever here.

I don’t even blame him at this point, he’s been crap since we bought him. I blame those that act like he’s ever been good enough. He shouldn’t be near the club.

He has performed well in certain big games, but that was a horrific performance. It felt like he gave the ball away with almost every pass. Ceded control to Spurs

His whole thing is chaos, there's no composure or much technical quality to what he does but there are games where you want a midfielder to bring energy and a bit of chaos (e.g. at home to City). 2-1 up away from home when we'd started to lose control of a game against a team that we're better than is not the time for what Fred brings.

Lovely guy, needs to go. Emblematic of how low our standards have fallen.

When you are on the back foot a bit he is the worst player to have because you can’t attack at all. He creates so much panic

I don't understand his swing in forms from game to game. Was brilliant vs Brighton and yet hopeless today.

Fred made 120k this week...let that sink in. Although his loyal supporters here will think its fair. Feck off Fred you're pathetic

I think the Brazilians were having a contest to see who could give the ball away the most and he had to make up ground quickly.

Yeah he gets praise and/or overrated after a couple of decent performances when the truth is he's very inconsistent, terrible on the ball mostly and doesn't offer much to the team outside of running around a lot. Nowhere near starting standard and honestly, with the money spent on him, doubt even a squad player.

Granted, i've never been massively impressed with him and am probably biased.

Absolute car crash of a performance. Highlight was fighting Casemiro for the ball so he could give it straight to a Spurs player.

What's going on? He didn't resemble like a footballer, never mind a central midfielder.

One of those Fred performances where absolutely everything was rubbish.

Bad Fred today but the tide had already turned by the time he came on.

Hope, We Lose
Poor.

The hyperbole will go off the charts here though.
Not at all

70.8% pass accuracy, our worst pass accuracy from our outfield players

Edit - 0 tackles, 0 interceptions, 0 clearances, 0 shots blocked and 1 foul also. Headless chicken without the ball hot potato to Spurs when he got it

Can't wait to see him leave. Horrible player more often than not. Wouldn't look out of place in the Everton team.

He can either come on and be MOTM or look like a pub player. I don't think Fred himself knows which player he's going to be when he comes on. We need to move him on and I hope his highlights reel is well edited to sucker someone into paying for him.

I am wide awake, jump off the bandwagon.

He was poor today and deserves criticism but he has shown enough in the past that he is a good enough squad player.
Good enough for what level? Would he be a squad player at City? Or Bayern, or Real?

The guy is a midfielder who can't pass, can't shoot. He is a disruptor, for both teams.

He is useful at times, but generally crap.

Ridiculously terrible performance. He didn’t do a single good thing on the ball and his positioning was shocking, constantly getting bypassed.

Probably why he hasn’t been playing much in recent weeks. This must be what he’s doing in training. Maybe the club have told him he’s off in the summer.
