The biggest ManCity forum because there's only oneOne of the best teams in the world, close to a treble etc... Yet there forum has a thread that's 7 pages long about... Trying to get little old Luton relegated
It's been 30 years guys... Let it go
So it was a must win match for both teams with something significant for the winner. In 1983, the two teams played to see who will get relegated to the second division. City needed a draw, Luton needed a win. Luton scored in the last minute to win the match and relegated City

Football 'eritage. This is di history of the Citeh.
Blue Moon are mostly lunatics to be fair, most fellow fans I know have a ugly feeling we will loseBluemoon is going to be hilarious on Saturday night if we beat them, all ive seen all week is City fans claiming they are going to put at least 5 past us.
Why do they think they'll lose? Please give me some hope!Blue Moon are mostly lunatics to be fair, most fellow fans I know have a ugly feeling we will lose
Our home and away form is vastly different. Wembley technically counts as an away because it's not at OT.Think they’re forgetting the game at OT where we won and had more shots and chances then them.
That still only makes two people thoughI really hope we beat these. Been getting a few cocky guys at work saying they’ve got 2 finals left against 2 easy oppositions. Every city fan I’ve seen is confident they’ll smash us. Think they’re forgetting the game at OT where we won and had more shots and chances then them.
It’s funny you mention away from because I’m pretty sure I seen the other somewhere that city have only won 1 away game against the top 9 in the league this season and that was arsenal. I’ve not seen that mentioned as much as our away form though….Our home and away form is vastly different. Wembley technically counts as an away because it's not at OT.
Very true. They won’t be to bothered about the train strikes this weekend. Can fit all their fans in the back of a car. That still only makes two people though
Absolutely no chance, a car is too big. A moped or two will do.Very true. They won’t be to bothered about the train strikes this weekend. Can fit all their fans in the back of a car.
This is definitely trueIt’s funny you mention away from because I’m pretty sure I seen the other somewhere that city have only won 1 away game against the top 9 in the league this season and that was arsenal. I’ve not seen that mentioned as much as our away form though….

Unicycle.A bicycle
General pessimism probably, but also because you have the players to hurt us on the counter and the fact there is an even bigger game next week. I'm the same, not optimistic at all, but I've never ever been before a derbyWhy do they think they'll lose? Please give me some hope!
Yeah but our form against the top 9 means we can't win the league because reasons. It’s funny you mention away from because I’m pretty sure I seen the other somewhere that city have only won 1 away game against the top 9 in the league this season and that was arsenal. This is so fake its unreal, if it was a genuine poll a lot of the ones who voted wont have been fans of City or United.Tweet

Maybe it's like red states in the US, there's about 20 people in each one. Maybe only 5 people live in BoltonIs the population of greater Manchester waaaay less than the capacity of the etihad?
It seems to have been the case for a long time. Back in the early eighties, I used to get the bus from Rusholme to Old Trafford on match days, a route that took me through the supposed City area of Moss Side. I was sometimes with a friend, sometimes alone, but I always had my red, white, and black scarf around my neck, and I was never bothered by a soul. I even lived a few blocks from Maine Road and barely ever saw a City scarf. I had a couple of mates who were City fans from Rochdale, and one side of my family were City, but they weren't matchgoers.I live and travel around manchester all the time. Honestly, you struggle to find a city fan anywhere.
Hope the traffic isn't too bad on the way to Wembley tomorrow, the crowd for their semi-final was embarrassingThere's a lot of traffic in Manchester
Finally we find out the identity of the city fan base.It seems to have been the case for a long time. That was so hilarious. Wasn't it a huge (or even record) crowd too?Reminds me when madrid (I think it was madrid) doctored that stadium photo in a pre season friendly in the USA
And that side of my family were in the Stockport area too. Finally we find out the identity of the city fan base.
I’m not sure about attendance records but it was a capacity filled stadium yeah and one of the big ones in the states iirc. I think it was MarcaThat was so hilarious. Wasn't it a huge (or even record) crowd too?
