You're assuming the sales we're going to make aren't already funding the Mount, Onana, Hojlund and Amrabat transfers. If reports are even semi-accurate that we're capped to £100-£120m net spend due to FFP, we need to sell to fund those 4 transfers, there's no way we'll recoup enough in sales to fund those 4 + Harry Kane on top. We'll need to spend on a centre back if Maguire leaves also.They would if one is funded by sales and happens to be a generational striker capable of adding huge value to the club.
Also if kane is still available toward the end of the window, I'm sure wel make a move. We have enough in sales by then.
We also never raise as much in sales as everyone thinks we will.
I suppose it's possible reports are horribly wrong and we're not in FFP trouble at all and can afford another £200+m net spend window, but it seems unlikely.
