Can't speak for others on here but I'm not a fanboy,it's more of a case I'm getting behind our only option now Jassim has gone
This is how everybody should be about now instead of the constant negativity - He, nor Jassim deserved "fanboys" they have to go and earn it.

“Concrete, concrete possibility”. Wtf does that even mean?
Well, it could mean that the possibility itself is a) not abstract and b) made of a mixture of gravel, cement, etc.

As in: this is a concrete, concrete pavement (which is real/exists in physical reality), and not an abstract, concrete pavement (which is only a possibility, or an idea of sorts).

"Concrete, concrete possibility" has to be one of the dumbest turn of phrases I've seen

It’s that concrete , concrete, for when just regular concrete possibility wont do, the level of possibility that only one club can turn into quick sand possibility

Well, quite.

Many on here believed the Qatari state cheat code would guarantee us success forever.

Ultimately, we shouldn't trust anybody until they prove they can be trusted.

@Castia

I showed these charts to you to show that PSG are a joke of a club.

They spend billions in a league where most teams have to sustain a positive net spend every season. They outspent Marseille, their closest challenger in terms of money spent on players, almost 5 times over, Nice more than 11 times over.

Their wage bill is bigger than their 4-5 closest rivals' combined.

And yet they've lost out on league titles to Montpellier, Monaco and Lille.

They've also succumbed to player power several times and built a toxic culture filled with drama queens.

They make illogical manager appointments and sackings on a yearly basis.

The way they bombed out of the CL by choking a comfortable lead several times.

They are literally the best football example of being stupid with money, but you've praised them several times in this thread.

The reality is that Ineos realized their mistakes after 3 years and have already adapted a much more sensible approach than PSG ever have in 12 years.

You are just blinded by blood money, thinking that a bottomless pit of cash is all you need to succeed in the Premier League. With their horrendous mismanagement, PSG would miss out on top 4 most seasons in England.

Thankfully, though, Manchester United are filthy rich, not state-owned and Ineos are about to appoint competent, footballing people in place of incompetent idiots.

They'll also have the club to themselves within a few years.

What's not to like?

I'm not going to argue with most of your points you are 100% spot on.

My argument about PSG is based off where they came from (2 titles in their entire history) before Qatar to where they are now within world football. It's cost them a lot of money and a lot of feck up's but they've gone from a nothing club battling relegation throughout the 00's to one of the major clubs in Europe.

I don't expect Jim to throw billions in making Nice a European club but if they're not disappointed with being a mid table club after 4 years then it's being run by a bunch of idiots. If you're linking me mid table wage budgets for a mid table club then I'm sorry all that says to me is lack of ambition it shouldn't take 500m and 20 signings to challenge for a European spot in France

And I have absolutely no idea how a billionaire who would need to invest the bare minimum to compete in the swiss league gets relegated that's just baffling

Nonchalantly scoring the winner...
Quality news - Paul Mitchell is now aware of the situation. He’s moved from his deep, DOF sleep that he normally occupies into an awakened state of awareness.

Paul. Mitchell. Is. Aware. They. Are. Worried.

And this is just quality journalism, great writing and not at all Dystopian that stuff like this passes as ‘news’.

A ‘concrete, concrete possibility’, is scientifically twice as concrete a possibility.

Basically saying this is a DOUBLE HARD possibility.

Exciting times.

There’s a lot of questions that need to be answered, primarily if this is part of a guaranteed takeover or just an investment. But if it’s true Blanc and Mitchell are going to replace Arnold and Murtough that is an enormous upgrade.

It’s crazy the club has been run by people who have failed time and time again without being sacked.
What makes you think that Blanc and Mitchell will succeed either?
This is Manchester United, it's rare that things are ever that easy or obvious

This season aside they are basically doing the same as they were. Which is not a good sign.
Based on the past records* and if history is to repeat itself, we could be relegated.
Mid-table would be a win.

* the last time we had this bad a win/loss record was the year we were relegated

Cheat code = not being buried in debt and owners also taking money out of the club. Apparently.
