He was shite before ETH came.Even our most productive player post-SAF has gone to shit under ETH in terms of production.
Also, we need to sell him while he has any value left. He's only going to get worse.

Not in production which was my main point. He was shite before ETH came.
Yeah, but have you seen his "what might have been stats"?Not in production which was my main point.
His production levels are the worst under ETH from any manager he's worked with.
You're not weird. Apart from one or two clever passes the only thing he did was to recycle possession. Not good of course, but he was the least of our problems in midfield and attack.I must be weird because I really dont see how Bruno gets any blame for the match against West ham.
we also need a better right back, a better center back, a better cm, a better right winger, a better left winger and w better striker. It’s about what is priority and I think him moving is no way near oneHe’s one of our best players but I firmly believe he has to go. Bored of the moaning, bored of the failed Hollywood balls.
I believe we need a better no.10 and a better captain.
It’s clear, is it?Compared to other elite no 10s / attacking midfielders in Europe - like KdB, Bellingham, Musiala, Odegaard, it’s clear Bruno is well below the standard a team needs if it has ambitions of winning the title and champions league.
He’s one of the only players with decently significant sell on value. Which means it should be a prioritywe also need a better right back, a better center back, a better cm, a better right winger, a better left winger and w better striker. It's more than just stats though, man is the captain but whenever the going gets tough, he shrinks, he become super petulant and doesn't lead by any example whatsoever. In a collective clusterfeck, you'd want your creative player and captain to try to keep a cool head, not argue, dive and moan at any opportunityIt’s clear, is it?
Go to Fbref and compare Bruno and Odegaard’s stats from this season. Then take a moment to think about the respective quality of the team mates they’re linking up with.
and that value is derived of the fact he is useless and should be sold? He’s one of the only players with decently significant sell on value. Which means it should be a priority
That value is derived of what popular opinion in the footballing world is of him. People think Bruno is one of the best midfielders in the world thus we’d get a great fee for a 30 year old that we can’t build around. It’s just good businessand that value is derived of the fact he is useless and should be sold?
It’s irritating but in the grand scheme of the many many flaws in this squad and the substandard players littered throughout it, Bruno being a petulant twat is completely insignificant. It has absolutely nothing to do with us winning or losing football matches. It’s really only relevant here because of how it seems to piss a lot of people off so much they seem unable to be objective about the actual quality of his performance. It's more than just stats though, man is the captain but whenever the going gets tough, he shrinks, he become super petulant and doesn't lead by any example whatsoever. Is he bellow standard for us or are we bellow standard for him? He was very good for about 2 years then he dropped of.Compared to other elite no 10s / attacking midfielders in Europe - like KdB, Bellingham, Musiala, Odegaard, it’s clear Bruno is well below the standard a team needs if it has ambitions of winning the title and champions league.
International matches a different than Premier League games. Plus every time he seems to score or get plaudits from Portugal matches, it's against shite sides. Is he bellow standard for us or are we bellow standard for him? He was very good for about 2 years then he dropped of.
I see him scoring and assisting almost every game for Portugal so honestly I don't know what to believe anymore.
What's an objective assessment of the quality of his performances then ? The stats I referenced in my previous post. What's an objective assessment of the quality of his performances then ? Enlighten us.
The point at the core of the ongoing Bruno debate is that stats dont actually paint the picture that you see on the pitch. The stats I referenced in my previous post.
Either that or watch his performances without bias. And don’t get me wrong, there have been some poor performances this season (although less frequent than almost every other player at the club) but there’s been a trend in this thread recently of absolutely rinsing decent performances. Which the stats can prove to be down to bias.
What has Mount ever showed to be as good as Bruno? He's looked like a player in decline this season to be honest. His engine has gone and he's not been as sharp.
I think we should cash in and bed Mount in as our new no.10.
His signing was not the Pogba's. Nothing at all like that.Reminds me of the Pogba signing, the kind of players that should be the cherry on the top of the cake, not the main ingredient.
Sometimes signings are too good to be true and you wonder, how come we got them so relatively easy, no Bayern or Real being in the chase.....now we know why.
Beg to differ, whats different...and Im not talking about price. Im talking about the type of signing. Both can look get individually but not benefit the team. Both rarely turn up in big matches too.His signing was not the Pogba's. Nothing at all like that.
Mount has better ball retention and a better engine. His final ball is nowhere near Bruno's but right now we just need a midfielder with energy who won't constantly lose the ball. What has Mount ever showed to be as good as Bruno?
Pogba's best games were likely during big matches against City, Chelsea and Arsenal.Beg to differ, whats different...and Im not talking about price. Im talking about the type of signing. Both can look get individually but not benefit the team. Both rarely turn up in big matches too.
Yep but were extremely rare.Pogba's best games were likely during big matches against City, Chelsea and Arsenal.
Those were just as likely to be his worst. Bruno has yet to concede stupid penalties in any of those fixtures. Pogba did it at least twice.Pogba's best games were likely during big matches against City, Chelsea and Arsenal.
Not really. Pogba was generally a key reason behind our ability to be good against good teams while we were losing points against power teams. The same applies to Rashford or Martial.Yep but were extremely rare.
Not true at all.Not really. Pogba was generally a key reason behind our ability to be good against good teams while we were losing points against power teams. The same applies to Rashford or Martial.
I get the idea that Bruno and Pogba have in common the fact that while both are talented players they lack on field leadership and most important game management skills but they are on opposite side of the spectrum when it comes to big games or big moments, Pogba is a gameraiser while Bruno is a flat-track bully.
....more the latter as you have suggested. Still think Pogs didnt turn up often enough especially when it matters. I think the city game is the one that most will remember....Not really. Pogba was generally a key reason behind our ability to be good against good teams while we were losing points against power teams. The same applies to Rashford or Martial.

Not true at all.
One has multiple actually great performances against top teams at club and international while the other doesn't.Not true at all.
Forget international. They both have some good (but never great) performances for the club against top teams. Most recently, Bruno scored against City last season and was very good against Barca (twice). Pogba maybe has slightly more good games against top teams? Not that many though. And a bunch of poor ones, including games where he directly cost us the result by conceding ridiculous penalties. It’s also funny that the City game where he scored a couple of goals gets hailed as a classic Pogba big game performance when he was absolutely diabolical for the whole of the first half. One has multiple actually great performances against top teams at club and international while the other doesn't.
Fair enough. Regarding the bolded part do you recognize the same thing for Bruno?Forget international. They both have some good (but never great) performances for the club against top teams.
