Can anyone shed some light on why Klopp did not play Sahin against Madrid in the second leg?

Why didn't Klopp use his other available substitutions besides Aubameyang? It was clear that Dortmund were running on fumes after 75-80 minutes. I really think they could have gone through if he had put Sahin and someone else in the game to bring some fresh legs.

Dortmund players got tired and couldn't amount to much in the last 10 minutes or so. I was shocked that Klopp did not bring in Sahin and at least another player in the last 10 minutes or so.
