  1. Nigel Martyn

The most underrated keeper in PL history? The 1990-2010s England legend thread made me think he should have had a fair crack at the England No. 1 spot too. Don't recall him messing up, capable of some great stops and very good at organising his defences.
  2. Robin van Persie

Blessing in disguise for Arsenal methinks. He could well be another Owen Hargreaves who gets a big money transfer on the back of a seriously questionable fitness history.
  3. Robinho

Bump. So what's up with him now? Any good at Milan? At one time he was as talented as Messi and Ronaldo. Would have been an able replacement for the latter at United.
  4. England's greatest player from 1990-2010?

Gazza, easily. Also, looking back, there seems to be similariies between Owen and Rooney's careers and in terms of playing styles. Even a young Owen was adept at at taking on players until injuries completely compromised his style. Rooney had more in terms of vision though.
  5. Are United fans arrogant?

Almost. Still a bit of purging left, cos there is some sort of a soft spot somewhere I think.
  6. ALL issues relating to the bond issue and club finances

The club neednt necessarily pay dividends. Have they mentioned they would in the offer statement? Think the timing of this is woeful cos there's barely any investor confidence in Wall St. currrently nor does the currrent climate seems favourable to the sentimental investor. But since it is...
  7. Transfer Forum List of Chief Target, Season-wise

2012 - Moutinho? Also, who was/were last years casualties? Sneijder?
  8. Iker Casillas

 Mourinho. Obviously Casillas sees through his facade. But on ability alone Mourinho is justified in wanting to replace him..if he feels like. Been far too error prone as mentioned in tbe post above. Also, a dependable keeper who gets his fundamentals right have always been a salient...
  9. Are United fans arrogant?

I think relative to their success the general aura among United fans is of arrogance. This is largely felt by fans of clubs outside England because United haven't had the success in the continent to back it up. Whether United fans like ot or not, Liverpool still do. Thats a whole different...
  10. Leighton Baines

Baines is a very good left back. For my money should be England's first choice. Has a better end product than Evra, even
  11. Iker Casillas

Is it just me or Casillas for Real is just isn't bothered off late for the past few seasons? He was the best in the world for a while during and a bit after Hierro but now seems like one of those players Mourinho desperately wishes to boot but cannot. Any La Liga fans who can shed some light on...
  12. FAO Indians - Indian Music Radio

The current Indian indie fusion scene is such a breath of fresh air. Aside from oldies like Indian Ocean and Agnee getting their dues, Advaita, Raghu Dixit and Swarathma are producing some quality stuff. Was anyone else also around at last year's NH7?
  13. Are United fans arrogant?

As a relative outsider, it is one of the most common criticism labelled at you lot. In fairness, no club which is so consistently successful will have fans who aren't perceived as arrogant. May be it is the jelousy that rival fans feel? But I also think many neutrals the same way about...
  14. 30 Rock

Ah! Ok, think aspects like parodying on what the state of television (thing like Queen of Jordan, Hard to Watch), the writers' constant dialogue with the audience by breaking the fourth wall, how it religiously avoids usual themes like emotional overload which most shows suffers from, and how...
