There is absolutely ZERO chance that Pogba could fly to Manchester on a commercial flight and not have twitter blow up with reports of it. It's one thing for him to get minimal attention flying from Vegas to New York, but flying to Manchester, at least half the plane would know who he is and why he's headed there, not to mention all the people that would see him at the airport after departing the plane.

IF he has flown to Manchester, it had to be a private jet. He posted something on Instagram at 3 or 4am NY time, so while he could have had insomnia, there's certainly a decent chance that he was awake for some other reason (such as being on a plane or arriving in a timezone 5 hours ahead of New York). Hypothetically, if he arrived in England before 7 or 8am, he could probably easily go unseen except by very few, especially if he's flying private.

In fact, if he hasn't already flown in, I'd guess that it will be private to avoid all the attention that him boarding a flight to England would generate.

Di Marzio just put up an article saying that the final details are being ironed out, while paperwork is completed, to be handed over to Juventus board for final signatures.
Then states that Pogba is still in New York, and is expected back at Juventus facilities (at least i think that's what he means) on sunday, but that he might not go there, and go directly to Manchester instead, due to where the negotiations are.

Sounds like - if we're lucky - the announcement will be made tomorrow, otherwise - considering how Juventus conducts business - we'll have to way until monday.

Schneriderlin was the biggest saga last summer and he made it to Carrington with nobody realising.

Pogba to Manchester United, the move is upon us. There is little that remains for an official conclusion to the transfer that has been long and involved between Juventus and United. The last details are on their way to being resolved, and it is due to the extremely large sums involved that have put every last detail under scrutiny. Right now in Turin, Pogba's representatives and legal team are working to finalize all of the paperwork, which would then pass over to Juventus and sporting director Marotta for signature. At that moment, Pogba will be released from obligations with Juventus (including that of his arrival at the team's training, where he would be expected back on Sunday), and could join Manchester directly in New York, where he is currently on vacation.

@Carl get your arse to that chopper and find out who was in it!
@Carl Get to Da Choppa!!!
The chopper left ages ago lads. I posted it in here! Was about 4.45pm ish.

Quite envious of that. I have a good workplace and all but to work next to OT is a bit special. But then again, you do that every day and get used to it.
Aye it's a lovely view alright.

No offence to Carl, but there's not much else going for that location!
No offence taken, I don't live there! Not that where I live is much better mind.

Having said that, the Quays is pretty thriving at the moment with the Lowry and Media City.

Thanks for the translation, that's exactly as I understood with my poor Italian. But isn't it Di Marzio instead of Amoyal?

YESHHHHH, We'll GOOO for it.
All the press have been saying it's done. There's no more pushing and pulling over fees, so I'd guess there's not much to report. But all outlets talk about it like it's just a formality now.
What on earth more do you want? Everyone is saying it's a done deal, there's literally nothing left but the official announcement.
I don't think the signing is in question, but I was thinking about it the day of signing being today.

Crazy to think some deals are done in hours on deadline day. The lawyers on duty on deadline day must charge an arm and a leg.

How many weeks can it take for the details to be "ironed out"? It's amazing. At least Di Marzio has finally been proven wrong with his 48 hours bullshit.

They clearly have no clue. Or if they do, they gladly just put out bullshit temporarily to get their coverage during low-activity times.

That being said, DiMarzio is usually reliable.

Proven wrong by Di Marzio himself? Lol

If he wanted to be a liar, he could have easily just said that Pogba signed his deal last week and is just on holiday until this weekend. No one would be able to prove him wrong seeing as no one else seems to have the info he does.

I don't think that this is still going on because this is how long it takes (as in x number of days to conclude a deal and do the relevant legals/paperwork), it's more likely that Paul has always been scheduled to conclude his holiday and we have worked backwards from that day.

If his holiday is up on the 6th then we probably gave each party till today/tomorrow to get everything done and he can fly straight to Manchester for his medical, we legally couldn't sign him till his medical is all sorted anyway and if we felt he was happy with the package then there's been no rush to announce everything.

Ironed out? For 2 weeks. It's clear they are just waiting for Pogba to come back off the longest fecking holiday in history.

Yes. Of course he makes these reservations. But first he said "it should be Thursday" then "should be Monday" and now "should be done tonight". Doesn't exactly improve his credibility - at least not in my books.

Maybe. But the point is that Di Marzio is spouting shit. If he is really ITK and the fact of the matter is that Pogba is just waiting for his holidays to be over, then why doesn't he just say so? Instead of all this "ironing out last details, should be done in 48 hrs" etc.

To all the people saying Pogba wanted to complete his holiday..

Why does it matter if Pogba has completed his holiday or done his medical.
None of that is required for the clubs to make a statement that a fee has been agreed subject to personal terms and a medical. We've done it before.
That's what is frustrating.

He's protecting his credibility. "Should be done this day" constantly from them the past 2 weeks.

Let's be honest here, there is zero possibility that Woodward does not read this forum.

Hi Ed.
