Newbie posters are automatically promoted and notified when they hit the “10 total likes” threshold, and by the look of things you received your 10th only today (for this post in the Russian invasion of Ukraine thread). From what I can tell, you were manually promoted in 2012 with just 4 likes — which must have been an exception to the mechanized norm, hence the weird notification by señor Cafbot!

Well obviously, I used to get really bothered about this sort of stuff when I was a kid but at some point you just gotta let go and don't give them the fuel they desire.
