Nothing to worry about, methinks. Newbie posters are automatically promoted and notified when they hit the “10 total likes” threshold, and by the look of things you received your 10th only today (for this post in the Russian invasion of Ukraine thread). From what I can tell, you were manually promoted in 2012 with just 4 likes — which must have been an exception to the mechanized norm, hence the weird notification by señor Cafbot!

Hey mods, getting a secure connection failed error on my laptop with Firefox browser: (PR_CONNECT_RESET_ERROR)

I assume this means the caf is under attack from Russian hackers. RIP.

Is there any reason why users would click on a Users Details to try and PM them and are getting a red screen with a white text box telling them that they don't have access?

Is that really so? I mean I take your word for it but they maybe miss out on being contacted through the PM system and what does anyone really need to hide?

Yeah! I hadn't noticed that until I checked it today but thanks. I'd have thought it strange but maybe that's not. And you can also now do the same with your whole Account Profile.

What it still doesn't answer is why you wouldn't want anyone to see any of your details but that's a choice I s'pose.

2:why can't I view certain people's profile?

1 - you can't. Staff sometimes change them, but usually a request for it ends badly.
2 - they've got a privacy setting switched on.

Cina is an enigma wrapped in a mystery.

Oh thanks, I just saw a lot of people having unique banners so I thought I could change mine to something less generic.

Pogba transfer thread. Some fanboy got mad and called me an idiot. I don't mind being called an idiot but when the rules are clear on this then it's pathetic that they don't apply them consistently. Either let everyone call each other an idiot or don't let anyone.

Well obviously, I used to get really bothered about this sort of stuff when I was a kid but at some point you just gotta let go and don't give them the fuel they desire.

Mods could probably do better by penalizing direct insults however.
