Game raisers. Nothing else.
Apart from the FA cup match, United has not really game raised against pool. This was Liverpool being wasteful and getting caught against the run of play by United having their customary individual moments. As soon as they calmed down and started passing the ball, they equalized.

The FA Cup match was very similar for the middle hour of the match, only instead of wasting shooting chances Liverpool were having a shambles with 5 on 2, 4 on 3 breaks, often not even getting shots away.

Both games felt like the more chances they wasted the more nervous and edgy they got as Utd were still maintaining a threat.

To allow a young player to go on a football pitch without clear instructions on who to mark at set pieces is diabolical.

He had an opportunity to fix it after the goal but the lad was still left confused.

This guy baffles me man and hes quick to throw players under the bus.

I'm just at a loss as to how we look this bad. Typical us, we can't just be poor, we have to go all out and be a complete shambles. We simply cannot control play whatsoever, everything is pure chaos and teams open us up at will.

In our pomp we weren't even going to Anfield and having 28 chances against some absolutely dog shit Liverpool teams. Some of the stats against us this season are what you would expect against literal relegation sides. I'm seeing absolutely nothing to suggest that ETH has a hope in hell of turning this around. I honestly have no idea what our style of play is supposed to be. It's been an absolute nightmare of a season after what was a very passable first season.

Glasgow resident these days.
I've never been more confident that he will be sacked in the Summer. Sir Jim can't of watched these last few games and thought 'yeah, Erik's the man for me'. He's beyond useless. Can't believe I thought he was the one, too.

It is wild, you wouldn't expect the bottom side to concede close to 30 shots a game against everyone they face. Our set up is horrible and so are our performances overall, which is what the coach influences - we have the talent on the pitch to pop up with moments against even the best sides but that is not conducive to actually winning trophies or winning consistently enough. Any results we get are almost in spite of the manager's instructions because none of it comes from any clear patterns yet we concede goals regularly in the same manner which indicates opposition coaches seeing our weak tendencies and exploiting them purposely.

A lot of us thought he was going to be successful here. The trick is; don't blindly support managers because of an initial opinion. It's always best to be objective and judge a manager by how they're performing. It's no shame to say that he looked an exciting appointment.

I have been watching football for 20+ years but I have never seen a team like this before, he takes Garnacho off at the end & brings a midfielder on to sit on the lead which kind of kills our attack but even then there is so much space in the middle when Liverpool attack. I don’t really get what I am watching

The first half was a complete shambles. We started of decently but couldn't get near them after the first 10 or 12 minutes. Were lucky to go into the half time only one goal down.

Came out much better in the second half, got a lucky break to get level and then took the lead. Then for some reason, around the 80th minute, our manager decided to take off our only genuine attacking threat. Our paciest player. Introduced our 10m loan signing, who is slower than a tortoise and can't pass for toffee under pressure, into the game. We proceeded to hand over all the momentum back to Liverpool and conceded a stupid goal.

But hey...he is still here and most likely will remain at the helm until the end of next season, while our the magical structure comes to life. Good times!

Apart from the 1v1 we just had to maybe win the game you mean?
That was after I posted and was one chance in 15+ minutes. We were looking threatening and for some inexplicable reason, the manager decided to take off our most threatening player.

Only a matter of time before he’s sacked. Either way he’s not going to be managing us next season- he’s simply been too poor since the start of the summer. Only silver lining is ruining Klopp’s last season along the way.

Maybe I have Grib. But we're all stuck in this together. No ones going anywhere
We are, for clarity I enjoyed us completely unjustifiably taking points of the dippers after being completely shite all game, I'm not even that annoyed Anthony didn't win it at the end, genuinely no clue why you think I should support city

So was the FA cup, they came down to our level, not us raising up to theirs

In hindsight that's 7 points thrown away in 3 games through stupid mistakes and bad decision making.

Performances haven't been great, but if some of these players had brains there'd be another 9 points on the board.

Now that I couldn’t give a feck about results for the rest of this season I’m somewhat enjoying this laughable brand of football he’s implemented.

This season has been an absolute shocker. We miss Shaw so much that I think it’s finally time to attempt to truly move on from him and sign a LB starter.

We need to replace Casemiro and Varane with younger better versions.

Someone like Musiala instead of Rashford would be a revelation here. That won’t happen but we need one more quality attacker if all those other lads are leaving. I think Sancho and Greenwood will both still have very good careers elsewhere and will make it back to the top within a few years but they’ve blown it here unless we can stamp some real authority and extra care on the players

I don’t know how anyone can watch us play regularly and not see that we even are where we are in spite of the set-up not because of it. We have some quality in there man.

Get me a manager to oversee and develop Garnacho, Mainoo and even Kambwala, Carrington is cooking.

Again people going over the top with reactions.
ETH will easily get a job in serie A or Bundesliga and will thrive there.

No idea why the idea of him having good future after leavig United upsets some posters so much. He hasn't shagged your wives or sisters to make it personal, has he?

He obviously cares for United and obviously he is doing what he believes is the best.

Wish him nothing but good fortune after he is gone. He had highs and low, good season and bad season. Absolutely nothing he has done to deserve the outrageous hate he is receiving here.

The number of shots conceded every game, the way we get dominated at home… it’s just staggering. I don’t don’t think we’ve seen something like this in the club’s recent history.
Ten Hag doesn't seem concerned as the chances conceded are supposedly "low quality" but today, Liverpool should have been three or four up by half-time.

I'm baffled that he seems happy to set us up this way. Knowing you're going to give up chances and hoping the opposition doesn't take them is not a strategy that makes any sense.

Also, even if he gets the players he supposedly needs to play how he wants, what is that system going to look like?

The whole situation is bizarre.

It upsets them because a lot have been more than happy to ignore the damage the Glazers have done to the club and make out that we're only this bad because Ten Hag is a terrible manager.
