Genuine question did anyone look at the back line available tonight and think “we’re going to do well today?”
Similar to the one against Burnley except Maguire for Evans and we didn’t win there. 2nd bottom in the league.

On the bright side. We are the team with the best negative goal difference!

Scholes and Owen now calling for his head but saying let McClaran take over, saying ETH doesn’t allow Steve anywhere near that team. Interesting

He's only had £400m to spend and there's still 8 players left from Ole and he didn't get De Jong and we've only lost the most games we've lost in a season since 1962...
That has to be a troll account.

The fax machine is still in IT under a load of crisp packets….

Once Sir Jim finds it I fear it’s time up for EtH.

Not sacking him already is the first black mark against INEOS.

I'm not convinced the future is looking brighter under them.
All this talk of structure is just them dithering over pulling the trigger. Ultimately the owner/CEO has to take accountability. If they feel they need ages before they can get the right people in permanent positions to sort the mess out, they should have proper interims in place to take the necessary calls.

I have never seen such dithering from any organization, let alone one who are the size of United.

Cam we sack him after the final game so we can have a new manager bounce for the final to give us even a small chance at it?
I’d rather someone come in this week so they can have plenty of training. Could have done with winning a few games before the final to get some momentum but we’re ending the season with all losses

Tuchel = personal opinion but no thanks, there is a reason he doesn't end with any club on good terms.
Zidane = apparantly has no interest in managing in england and has not experience in a job like this.
Amorim = unproven, is he an improvement?
Potter = I would point him in the Amorim camp but somewhat proven as being unable to cut it at a top club.
Southgate = Would be even worse, I guarantee it.
Forget the CV's.

At this point, a new voice and approach is needed. The players lost belief in him and his approach a long time ago.

People need to chill, he's going. Why let a manager face defeat to City, let ETH face the defeat and then bring in the new guy.

Only issue for me is no European football, I want some midweek football.

Must. Absolutely fecking must. In capitals MUST be sacked tomorrow after that.
There isn’t a word which is suitable to describe that utter disgrace.
Also someone show Casemiro the way to the glue farm please he is fecking shot. He’s like a 50 year old fat dad - and that’s it.

13 League defeats, surely will be 16 and set for 54 points, 21 goals conceded in the last 8 games

Specially when firing this fraud is such an obvious decision

We said that under, Jose, Ole, Rangnick at one point of another. Memories are short. At somepoint the players need to be overhauled.
9 of tonight's starting 11 didn't play under any of those managers. The players have been overhauled. His has made our squad worse.

Surely you realize that people are tired of the same 1000 page long "contstructive debate" that you seem to always want to have right after we just watched yet another embarassing performance right?

People having been "debating" you since fecking December while you WUM it up listing every excuse under the sun. No one feels like it's even worth expending the energy these days.
100% this.

The majority of players that started today doesn't have a long term future at the club.

I lost belief in the players a long time ago, get rid of them first in my opinion. How many voices do the below need?

Sigh... Plumbing new depths now are we? Sunday could be ugly. And of course Ten Hag gets to be in the dugout again. Omnishambles.

What would any top team in the world do after getting hammered by a lower half of the table team? Probably sack the manager.

The first of the 10 years of pain and the last of it are fitting. A perfect decade of what has been the worst Manchester United football in recent history. Make sense to end with a sack of the manager and several players and to start a proper decade of football planning.

The players got overhauled.

7 of the starting 11 were players EtH signed. 2 others were players he promoted. One of the subs was a player he signed. Another one he promoted.

In total, 11 out of 14 players that played today were players he signed or promoted.

The players might be bottlers but it is not the same group of players that ‘downed the tools for the other managers’.

No point in sacking him now let him endure the humiliation that's coming our way. It's the least we can do to hold him accountable.

Moyes wins a trophy with West Ham and the fans get rid. Imagine that, West Ham having higher standards than United

We already have, as has been pointed out time and time again. This is his squad.

They’ve been overhauled multiple times though

Most of those players were ETH signings tonight

It's a red flag for sure. I just hope they're not deluded/ arrogant enough to think they can polish the turd that is ETH.
Again: it's neither a black mark nor a red flag when you actually understand that the INEOS people are not in position yet. Blanc will become interim CEO "at the end of the season". Berrada will take over in July. As will our new DoF hopefully. They will change managers then (at the end of the season), not before, and it makes sense because that is simply the situation at the club after the takeover. Although tonight's horror show might speed up proceedings.
