It's a horrible video and I had to grit my teeth to go through, not just once, but many times to try to coin what the militant said despite the bad audio.
What I understood was "Here are the (female) captives". He used the word "Sabia" or "Sabaya", depending on how you pronounce it, which also means captivating or enchanting. That's what I personally got from it. Pregnant in arabic is "Hamila", the verb being "Ahmal" which means "to carry". No matter how many times I listened to the audio, I just couldn't find any hint to a "get her pregnant". It also doesn't make any sense to me, if they're hostages to be freed at some point, why would you do something that will be broadcasted the second the hostage is out of danger?
That's the problem. I felt so sorry for her and truly hope that she and the remaining hostages survive this awful ordeal.
You have to post here more often. Please. We need your voice.
It is well made video, thanks for posting it. To cover basically all history in 30 minutes I guess it did a very good job. Of course each side would likely find some nuances or details to add/change/disagree (e.g. I would mention St. Remo conference as a very important event) but in big picture I think it is accurate.I found this video interesting. It further reinforces how many different groups of people have been in and out of the area over the past couple of millennia.
Stop it. You either don't know what it means at all, in which case you should be more careful and researched before making such allusions, or you do know and you chose to highlight it out of sinister motives. And Jews know very well what "by any means necessary" mean. And you do too.
At which point did I threaten you?Ooh yes, for example Hebron 29, those bloody Europeans.
Consider this to be my last reaction to you. Feel free to react but please don’t insult and threaten me again. Mods will delete it anyway (for your own good). I wish I made a screen shot of your already deleted rant.
Thank you for sharing.I found this video interesting. It further reinforces how many different groups of people have been in and out of the area over the past couple of millennia.
No one can say that because it’s not possible. Can anyone on this forum confidently say that if they and their family lived like this, for years and years, with no end in sight, they wouldn’t be extremist?
Thanks for posting this. But I think it’s wasted on those two posters. They are indoctrinated with hate for Arabs from a young age. You’re not gonna get through to them. Can anyone on this forum confidently say that if they and their family lived like this, for years and years, with no end in sight, they wouldn’t be extremist?
The arabic word for slave is "abiid" or "abiida" (feminine form), there's no mistaking that. Some Israeli media outlet claimed that "Sabia" means "(female) slave". it's so fecking stupid to lie about something that is so easily shown to be false.
Bu media outlets in general profit from the fact that the headlines of articles stick in the memory of the majority of people, not the truth and not complicated perspectives about anything.
re: getting hostages pregnant, it doesn't make sense from the angle you mentioned, but you won't expect people to act sensibly in situtions like these.
I don't believe that there are female hostages in these situations that are not at minimum touched, harrased, and sometimes raped, in any place on earth.
Islam/Judaism/whichever religion will not stand for it,
but people are not saints, and they are angry. females are easy targets. I wouldn't be surprised if their reproductive systetms don't work because of the conditions in which they are held. won't be surprised to have learned that fetuses didn't survive, if indeed they have been created.
I suspect that both the male and female people inside those tunnels have been deeply harrased in many ways.
not everything has to go down the "oh but the Israeli propaganda machine always lies, I call bollox" road.
Not specified towards you but generally in this thread. It's tiresome.
I also don't want to imgagine what Arab boys, teenagers, women in israeli prisons go through in places that the CCTTV cameras don't cover.
yeah I was atlking about hostages in the tunnels already in Gaza, no at the party on Oct 7th.The arabic word for slave is "abiid" or "abiida" (feminine form), there's no mistaking that.
I do not either and absolutely get what you're saying. I'm under no illusion, sexual harrassment or rape can never be ruled out in war times and I would be the last person to handwave it. The allegations of mass rapes on Israeli soil in a time limited operation with enemy helicopters and tanks on the way, are where my doubts lie.
I sincerely hope that no hostage had to endure this horrible fate, but the translation of the video in this case is just false, in my opinion.

I wonder why a picture that has the palestinian flag all over the region and argument has been mounted around is maintained without bejng deleted. And i cant compare it with a picture of netanyahu doing the same in the UN but as israel ignoring gaza and west bank and is deleted on "keep it civil" measuresSo getting back to the bolded part, there are countless examples that you are simply wrong. Here you have just one:
Care to explain the map?
Care to explain what are those means?
It's incredible that someone posting Douglas Murray and travel bloggers attempts to be condescending. Just no self-awareness whatsoever. And those you encountered so far were all propaganda (meaning all those that do not align with your view). How unlucky.
https://www.theguardian.com/world/a...d-abuses-at-israeli-detention-camp-sde-teimanphysical and mental abuses, with at least one reported case of a man having his limb amputated as a result of injuries sustained from constant handcuffing
It’s honestly like Israel has elected a bunch of kindergarteners. How can anyone take them seriously?
Because you constantly attack me personally to which I have to react. But it brings nothing to the discussion so no wonder bunch of posts get deleted. Attack the ideas but dont insult others.I wonder why a picture that has the palestinian flag all over the region and argument has been mounted around is maintained without bejng deleted. Both pics the same, but one are anonymous and another being the PM of israel
This is a very nice example. It's incredible that someone posting Douglas Murray and travel bloggers attempts to be condescending. Just no self-awareness whatsoever.
Are you comparing scholars to a clown? of course people will laugh at your posts if you use Murray as a source. This is a very nice example.
Post something that Douglas Murray said/wrote about the conflict and agree/disagree with that. Don't use it as a tool to get at me like you won some sort of argument. You didn't. I don't lurk around the thread and look for every mention of Filkenstein, Pappe or Chomsky and use it against some poster. We can discuss their views.
What do you mean about Oren? He is a travel blogger. So what? He is also an Israeli who gives his point of view. Do you judge fellow Israeli Caftards in this thread based on what their job/occupation is? So speaking of condescending.
Typically, you couldn't help, but finish with a little personal insult.
The IDF has been accused of committing acts of gender-based violence, war crimes and crimes against humanity in keeping with the recognition of the International Criminal Court (ICC) that sexual violence is a war crime and a crime against humanity.

How I insulted in any way?Because you constantly attack me personally to which I have to react. But it brings nothing to the discussion so no wonder bunch of posts get deleted. Attack the ideas but dont insult others.
I meant you in plural, which was probably not very wise in highsight. You personally didn't so I apologize if you took offence. (you should have seen some other posts which are already deleted )How I insulted in any way?
I can't be responsible of others. But anyway now that I ve got your attentio, do you have anythingto say on the map that Netanyahu showed in the UN were gaza and WB was covered for a full total israel state in the middle east of the future in contraposition of the one you posted? And taking in account that Netanyahu is the PM with actual power what is scarier?I meant you in plural, which was probably not very wise in highlight. You personally didn't so I apologize if you took offence. (you should have seen some other posts which are already deleted )
Yes, that was incredibly stupid stunt from Bibi. Completely unnecessary provocation. It didn't help Israel at all. You can find similar pictures of Abbas holding the same map, handing out scarves and little mock ups without Israel. I guess we don't have to talk about Hamas. I see it as mutual provocation. You can argue that Israeli PM holds much more power than Palestinian counterparts, what is true of course. But in no way it is official Israeli governmental policy with enough political capital behind it. Smotrich and Gvir say stupid shit time from time, but it is about it, for now.I can't be responsible of others. Taking my deleted post as an example, it was the mildest thing imaginable. To be honest I have no idea why mods deleted it. But if these were the kind of deleted posts, then you don't have much to complain about.I meant you in plural, which was probably not very wise in highsight. The normal line is "he's just one fringe lunatic with no real power".Do the Zionist genocide apologists in this thread want to respond to this?
Israeli society is sick.
The issue is a double standard is employed here. Whenever Israeli or even US politicians make outlandish statements it's waived away as 'not serious' yet some young protesters hold a sign and it's apparently a serious threat and the police need to apply pressure.Yes, that was incredibly stupid stunt from Bibi. In context of current events when you hold sign with that map and words "any means necessary" that means only one thing - Palestine will be Jew free. On the other hand, there are 2 million Arabs living in Israel relatively good life. You can agree/disagree what that good life stands for. But can you name one Arab/Muslim country where Jews live as minority? Not even good life. Just where they live. Only one. Can you? Jews have nowhere else to go.
Totally shocking how they've come around to this well known argument now that it suits them. Maybe they should also retroactively pardon Eichmann, just to really drive home the point. They didn't really have jurisdiction, after all. It's ... something... to see Zionists invoke fecking Nuremberg as an unjust and political show-trial in order to make the ICC case look worse:

What does it mean in the context of current events when Israeli officials say "let's kill all the Palestinians" and then Israel kills tens of thousands of Palestinians? In context of current events when you hold sign with that map and words "any means necessary" that means only one thing - Palestine will be Jew free.
I do understand why some posts are deleted which derail the thread with unnecessary personal ping-pong. I have never complained about your posts and wouldn't mind if it would still be here.Taking my deleted post as an example, it was the mildest thing imaginable. To be honest I have no idea why mods deleted it. But if these were the kind of deleted posts, then you don't have much to complain about.
Nobody of political significance said that. What does it mean in the context of current events when Israeli officials say "let's kill all the Palestinians" and then Israel kills tens of thousands of Palestinians?
What's the political significance of a random college student? You make a lot of generalizations based on that.Nobody of political significance said that.
