Noticed some posters here complaining about his delivery.

His delivery is just fine, problem is that our CF is often outside of 16 m box and there's none to send a cross to.

Very good first half, faded in 2ND, didn't get much ball in the 2ND either.

Overall one of our best players on the pitch today.

Don't think he had a great game, just his regular game, which is far better than others manage.

Our best attacking outlet today, even crossed the ball with his left foot!

I thought he was poor again, seems to get so much time and choose the wrong delivery on a consistent basis. With the Rooney chance early he has acres of space to play a pretty safe 12 yard square ball across the turf to feet and he floats it up way over the top of Rooney. I don't mind tough chances like a trying to win a 50/50 while crossing or stretching to get to a loose ball, but if you have that much time and space to think about it, surely you have to play the simple 12 yard square pass along the ground, especially when you look up and see Rooney unmarked.

If his delivery is fine he doesn't have to slay the ball in to nobody, all people are saying is that he should have a bit of a think about it. Mix his game up, put the ball on the floor and advance the position, see a ball and hit a ball. Not hit the ball into nobody because all he can do is fang in a ball when nobody is there. Frustrating day for him today.

His delivery isn't fine. 90% of the time he just puts floating crosses into a general area in the box with little power on them. If we had someone like Lukaku to attack those then it wouldn't be so bad but we don't. The only person likely to win headers is Ibra and it is far from a strong part of his game. The complete lack of power in his crosses means the header needs to generate the power which is incredibly difficult and the hang time gives defenders a better chance of getting on to them. He rarely hits a ball in with pace or whips ones in. The odd time he does mix it up and put is something like a low driven cut back it results in more danger. He needs to mix it up more and stop with the constant soft chips floated across as they will never be scored directly from.

Actually that comment I wrote yesterday was for Martial's performance, but in the moment I must've mixed up his name with Antonio. Honest mistake.

How is heading not a strong part of Ibra's game? Lukaku and Ibra have exactly the same amount of headed goals this season and that's despite Everton having Miralles, Coleman and Baines supplying him.

Great game from him, but was genuinely worried when he had both feet off the ground for a tackle in the second half. Oliver doesn't even give him a yellow. A little lucky there.

Fantastic the way hes re-invented himself. Dude is a beast and would be happy if he keeps performing like this and starts next season as our RB.

Loved his attitude. It's always good but tonight was extra special. He still frustrates me on the ball but his defending really has become something.
