Arsenal 22/23 - go to new thread

You've said all along? What a bold prediction that was, well done mate, even though many Arsenal fans were saying the same. ;)

Oh come on, you know that’s bollocks. There’s been plenty of Arsenal fans on here, on other social media outlets bumping their gums about how they are winning the league as early as October.

Exactly. I think it was a really good patch that flattered this Arsenal team greatly. They'll be fighting for 4th again next season.

Right about Liverpool too, this was their cycling off season so next season they'll suddenly be full of endless running and fighting for the top spot again once it kicks back in.

It does give mixed feelings, as obviously we shouldn't be chuckling at City winning another title.

But everyone knows what City have done to get their wins, rendering them fairly meaningless to us. Whereas when a "proper" rival wins doing it properly it burns like mad.
That one Liverpool title was way more painful then City winning 10.

Getting 9 points from 21 (two wins and three draws) in the run in is kinda bottling it.

They did well to get into the position but it's how it happened
Drawing two games when two goals up and in control
Then just about drawing at home to the bottom team.

That period of three games has been costly.

Moments you knew things would go the way it did, Xhaka waking up Anfield at 2-0, zinchenko crying at 2-2, today martinelli with that stupid forearm which ended up with him getting a receipt and being subbed off early.

Aye, and most get called out for being gobshites. There's also been plenty saying nothing was ever over and that City are still favourites, precisely for the same reasons everyone else said they were, but we get called out for that as well.

I mean, there were plenty Utd fans on here and online saying you were in the title race a couple months back as well. The noisy ones tend to be the ones with the extreme views.

Can you lot at least beat Forest on Saturday so we don't have to do a stupid guard of honour for them on Sunday?

Will only be 3 points better off than Mourinho's United in 2018 if they win their next game.

We reached the final of the FA Cup that year (f***k We should have beaten Chelsea that day)... Don't compare the washed up Special One to Lego Pep...

What was looking like an incredible league campaign ends up as an ordinary one.

That team has been derided whilst the Arsenal team have had all the superlatives used about them. In the end, they're not any better

Mourinho wouldn't have bottled the title if he had Arsenal's lead

What an anticlimactic end to their season. Shaped up to be an amazing one and now it’s ending with barely a whimper

Yep.

That Arsenal team will be forever known for delivering the most spectacular blowjob of all after spending 248 days at the top of the League. They are blowing more than Angela White, especially with 3 defeats in their last 5 Premier League games when it mattered the most.

I am interested. Where do I sign up?

I went to school with many Arsenal fans and they're all genuinely like the people you see on AFTV. It brings me immense joy knowing how much they're suffering today.

They’ve been out of the CL for so long, they’ve included a section called ‘how the Champions League works’

Would be hilarious, especially as he's ridden out dodgy times at Arsenal to finally get to quite a tidy looking outfit.
However, he may well realise this year was their peak and they blew it, and despite a young team there's no guarantee they get close again.

He'll realize that after a couple of years if Arsenal fail to win the title. In fact if we don't win the PL/CL in the next two years a lot of our staff, both playing and managerial will be looking elsewhere.

Do you think you have any chance of winning the champions league within 2 years?!
You've only just got back into it after years.
