Almost everyone is sad to see him go because they wanted him to retire there but they are not upset with the player because he has always wanted to play abroad and this is his last chance to move to a top club. They also recognise both he, and Bayern, got a great offer for an ageing player with injury problems in the final year of his contract.
Anyway the interesting thing is how much stick Guardiola gets. A lot of people saying he is ruining Bayern's identity and is too biased towards his signings (Alonso especially) over players that were the mainstays of the team he inherited. Way more anger at him than I would have expected.
