Bluemoon goes into Meltdown

I agree but they've also spent nearly 800m euro in the transfer market the last four seasons and the only world class player they've managed to pull out of that is Haaland, who was already a known world class quantity in Germany. Its not like they've just been riding the same squad the entire time. They've been trying to find and develop the next generation its just really hard to find world class players. Maybe players like Gvardiol or Savinho could get there but so far they haven't been able to find players of the quality of the generation they are phasing out.

What key players has he successfully replaced at City with a better or equal?

Rodri for Fernandinho
Haaland for Aguero

That's about it.

You can throw in Bernardo for David Silva or Dias for Kompany. Maybe they weren't quite as good but still really really top class players.

But I think your point still stands and that's what I'm also saying. Its just really hard to replace world class players unless you're Real Madrid and you de facto get first choice on every budding superstar. This is one of the big reasons that football seems cyclical.

All these great supporters left early to go onto bluemoon and rant and rave?

thats rough on those fans to be fair, one minute theyre cheering the likes of hazard and drogba - then next their getting mocked at the bernebeu

You can replace them, but it has to be gradually, one or two players a season being phased in. So you can maintain a high level, it's what Madrid do and have done for a long time, they just buy a player who sorts a position for about 10 years, then a few years before that, buy the next guy who'll take over.

Palmer is the one they should have given the last 2 seasons to take over from KDB. Marmoush is now expected to just pick up that mantle from the off. Selling Alvarez looks like a poor move now.

They also needed someone to phase in for Walker. Doku is poor. Grealish has been a flop. Kovacic has been poor. Savinho looks promising but he's another that should have been phased in.

Ederson is done, you can see that his head is not in it, so many goals conceded where he's just been been caught in no man's land, whereas previously he would have swept up.

Bit bored at work...

Micah Richards

He's not a pundit, he's there for banter.
Micah is an idiot, but a rich one so he's happy.
He's completely sold out unfortunately. Even when ratboy and spitty will say negative about their clubs it will be because they have their best interest at heart. Micah has realised where the money is and its not being the guy that's gonna back City with his back against the wall, that would be suicidal if he wants to further his career.
Got to give to him. He's earning a fortune for just sitting acting like a buffoon.
Why this clown is still our TV personality is beyond me.
As for Micah… always been an Arsenal fan, traitor to the North supporting a Cockney team he never played for.
A shallow, impressionable, clown whose insight, football intelligence, and broadcasting delivery style is negligible and nauseating.
...
That's actually punditry for fecking idiots, they ain't arguing, it's all pre planned bollocks to get feckwits talking.
Yup. Clearly stage managed and partially rehearsed, with info and stats being fed to them. Micah probably doesn’t even know which teams are playing, let alone having a clue about tic-tacs (sorry, tactics).
He has admitted he uses City to get his tv gig
What an utter fake, sly **** this guy is.
He literally says it in that clip for a laugh.

fecking ****. Best thing we did was give Zabaleta his place and bin this sicknote dickhead off.
Joe Hart is Head and Shoulders above him in every aspect of punditry and Hart is actually getting praises hopefully going forward it’s Hart who gets prominence over this good for only laughing Micah
Micah is an embarrassment to himself as much as anything else, being laughed at not laughed with….
Its just another Sky angle on trying to belittle City honestly how many ex City players out there could they use and the choose this Idiot who isnt even arsed about you anyway :)
The Gen Zzzzzzzzzzzs in wih the money defence no doubt - such is their analytical validation. The great Mammon, plus "likes" and "followers". Forget integrity.
Thick **** doesn't even understand the implications of what he has said
He is completely cringe. That advert he does for We Buy Any Cars makes me want to throw up my skeleton. I'm glad he supports Arsenal, it means that we don't have to compromise ourselves and feel dirty trying to defend anything he does...ever.
I used to like having him on TV. Can't stand him now.

City success gave him this career he has. He should be repaying that by at least knocking carragher out.
I only see him over here doing Champion's League stuff on Paramount+ with Thierry Henry, Kate Abdo and Jamie Carragher.

He's fecking horrible. Total fake-laughing twat always trying to cover for the fact he has no insight worth the name.
A fat clown who embarrasses himself every time he opens his mouth !!
A common theme -:
Richards
Rashford
Sturridge
Sancho.

Thick, overpaid, overated, bling gangstas with failed careers.

Perfect for TV analysts !!
...
Didn't we all know he was an Arsenal fan already?
Yes
But he basically said he supports City to get the TV gig
...
We’ve seen Carragher in a rag shirt. We’ve seen Micah in a rag shirt. You better believe you’ll never see Neville or Keane in a City shirt. Why those two plonkers wore that crap (for the money to keep their masters happy) is beyond me.
The Diehard Toffee wore a dipper shirt for 20 years
Also spits at kids so I shouldn’t be surprised
Well we all know big Meeks or whatever stupid name he wants to call himself isn’t a blue.
He was happily referring to ARSEnal as ‘we’ and saying he wanted them to win the league for the last 2 seasons.

Let’s face it he would have probably played in a rag shirt if he got the chance.

How this clown is still a club ambassador is beyond me.
..
He's a ****. Not even a funny ****.
Class clown long worn off on me. Couldn't analyse a turd Micah the tarquin ****
That act wore thin in about 2012 when he was arsing about making videos on the city YouTube channel while "injured" with that other bell end "Chappy".

I realise I'm repeating myself on here slagging these two dickheads off but they got on my nerves back then and they get on my nerves now...
...
I like him and think he's a good pundit.
How? He never stands up for City, just does what he’s fecking told. Sucks up to fecking Roy Keane of all people, all round twat.
...
After reading his autobigraphy I would surmise that he couldn't give a shit as long as the money appears in his bank account.
You've read Micah Richards' autobiography?

That's more than Micah Richards has done I suspect.
...
He offers absolutely nothing in terms of tactical comments, at least Neville says things during a match that you think..."didn't spot that" or "yeah, he's probably right". Micah has nothing to say about tactics, can't see anything in a game. Sums up much of modern media, just a loud shouty voice, with zip all substance..
Sums up most of his playing career.
...

aaand the Winner is:
Just Keane's woman.

City - Liverpool, pre match thread

Their defence can be got at but I feel they have too much in attack for our poor defence to cope with, plus their speed of play and press v our midfield. Hopefully we go toe to toe with them with our pacy attack and be as clinical as we were v Newcastle but with Pep you know it will probably be a few slow oaps in midfield. Probably playing against 13 with the match officials also.
I genuinely feel the Newcastle tactic will be great for us in the league. Madrid are the best in the world and we had no prayer tonight.

Go into Sunday with a positive, front-foot mentality and we’ll be mint IMO.
Bloody scouse twats get given a penalty every game so we’ll already be starting a goal down. Salah never gets fecking injured either.
Hopefully Haaland’s back because having him as a distraction for Marmoush and Savinho is key for the tactic.
Sick of these mix bag of emotions this season. I thought we could get something tonight after Newcastle and we’ve been truly humbled tonight.

Arsenal or Liverpool for the title, couldn’t really give a feck who wins it as I hate them both. So come on City and smash the scouse feckers.
Let's cancel.....say we can't put a team out (births/weddings/bar mitzvah etc) and give them a 3-0 walk over.

** just for those who might think I'm being negative.....this is a joke **
Their energy will kill us, expecting a loss here. We need to see some sort of reaction though like we did against Newcastle.
Time for us to do the game raising. They always got a result against us when they were having an off season.
Another humbling on the cards for us.

We might nick a draw v Spurs then batter Plymouth. Everyone will be running around waving flags and everything saying we're back.

Only for Forest to bring us crashing back down to earth a week later!!
Those Scouse bastards won't know what's hit him.

You're welcome Arsenal.
How about talking about scousers' record on our patch. When was the last time they won? 2016? They shit the bed when they come Manchester way
Sounds like they had a tough night at Villa Park, so at least they won't be completely fresher than us.
Theyve not lost away all season so law of averages I am going with a City win.
A battering I'm afraid.......hope I'm wrong but can't see past a clear 3 goal defeat.......sorry so depressed after that bag of bollocks served up against Madrid.
VAR: Stuart Attwell. Dyed in the wool corrupt Attwell hasn't reffed a City game this season. Had my money on him reffing the derby and the dipper games. They must just put him on VAR now.
Our old friend Anthony Taylor in charge, which doesn't augur well - although you'd think he hates Liverpool as much as us ?
Pep hasn't lost a league game to Liverpool at Etihad. Arsenal will be right back in the title race (if they aren't already) after this game.
Liverpool always raised their game against us despite their shite form. Now it is our turn. Even the rags got something against them when they were dominant.
Blues are funny. We hammer a (poor on the day) Newcastle side and everyone thinks we're going to do the same against Real. A (very good on the day) Real hammer us and we all assume the dippers are going to destroy us.
Rinse and repeat.....
Newcastle was as poor as chelsea was against us. Yesterday was the real test and city was miles off reals pace, big improvement needed to get a win on sunday.
“Best team in the world” is all i keep hearing, bollocks. I actually think we’ll give them a good hiding.
Liverpool have looked fecked the past few games. Players look very tired all of a sudden.

We have a better chance then some think.
We are going to win 4-0 possibly more.

Because that's what City do. We aren't title rivals so all the pressure is on the dips.

We could still finish 2nd the way Arsenal bottle it.
There's no reason we can't beat the dippers. Last night we didn't look interested. Scousers ain't that good. Which City will turn up only God knows. All depends who Pep picks. I'm going for a draw.
Whilst we're utter shite for our standards, these are not the great side the fawning media will tell you. I reckon The Right Reverend for this one.
feck Arsenal but I'd rather they win it than LiVARpool.
...
Liverpool are a weird cult and we need to twat them.

but come may if it ain't forrest, feck me I prefer these oddballs over the Arse as their fans are cnuts

ABA. - anyone but arsenal*

*rags not included
Give your head a fecking wobble.
And you’re all weird as feck with memories of a goldfish.
my memory is fine

A club headed letter wanting us as a club destroyed and despatched from the league emails to the governing bodies demanding investigations against us.
this trumps one scrote not even going to a game throwing a bottle of koppenberg at our coach.

Arsenal as a club want us to be fecked over and removed, they are bigger cnuts than anyone bar the rags

anyone wanting arsenal to win the league is happpy with their agenda against our owners and club imho. Liverpool are clowns not worth my energy.
Who to hate more. Decisions, decisions. :-) despise the pair of them for different reasons.
Throughout this 'Destroy City' campaign the dippers have been acting in the shadows possibly connected to the hacking case.

However, they are front and centre along with the other yank cabal.

We have royally fecked up little woods in the last decade and they have been feeling it !!
...
Liverpool conceded 2 goals vs. Everton and another 2 goals vs. Villa. They conceded many chances, too. They were solid at the back before Christmas but that has changed recently. Also, they were pathetic vs. Wolves and didn't have a shot in the entire 2nd half even though they played at home.

Currently, Real are better than Liverpool. They had bad periods earlier in the season when Liverpool were flying, but it's the opposite now.
If they played now I would definitely fancy Real to beat the scousers.
We will piss ourselves laughing as they will score at least 5 past them. Making our result look respectable.
...
The Real Madrid defeat should have no influence on Sunday.
Still need to show a little pride after the Real Madrid. Liverpool always found a way despite having an indifferent season.
We have played 11 games against Madrid, Arsenal and dippers since last season and we've won zero, we can't beat top teams anymore.
...
I want the scouse crushed and leaking confidence for the run up to the end of the season.

Quad my giddy arse.
They can’t do the quad anyway mate. They got knocked out of the FA Cup by….*checks notes*…Plymouth Argyle Formally Known As Wayne Rooney’s Plymouth Argyle.
...
Even if Arsenal win and we beat Liverpool they will still be 5 points clear with a game in hand, serious pressure?
It's Arselona that will have the game in hand mate

Those who know me know I am mostly pretty pessimistic when it comes to City.

But these victim bastards are there for the taking.

More often than not we get the better of them at ours, with the reverse true at Murderfield.

I am parking the Madrid result - a nothing game we had no hope of progressing from.

Our league form over the last month suggests that while City may not be "back" there's something there. Some grit and energy, especially with the new lads.

I see no reason why Marmoush and Gonzalez can't rip these benefit cheat rat munching bin dipping twats to pieces and Khusanov can snap a few limbs at the other end.

feck it let's 'ave it blues.

3 points and the full scale Scouse Spring wobble is on. We beat these vermin twats on Sunday and I'm wearing a full Arsenal kit til May.

Any of you lot who have drunk the Scouse revisionism Kool-aid and want them to win the league can feck right off. Absolute filth of a fanbase. Arsenal fans are a bit annoying but about 0.000001% as bad as these bus-bricking rival fan-murdering victim merchant twats.
Hahaha....Scouser Spring wobble.

I'm with you mate, let's do them.
Beautifully worded
Amen brother

Why this clown is still our TV personality is beyond me.

Well they do also have Danny Mills and eh... Joey Barton as their alternatives.

So maybe Micah isn't so bad after all.

No output, no creativity, mentally fragile. Could have been out there all night and not scores.

Not even a great Liverpool side, especially considering the sides we've beat in the past.

End the season already.
Sounds like scousers talking about us in our glory days

The team is finished. We have a real lack of quality. Liverpool not even out of first gear.

Don’t know where we go from here

It's shockingly bad! I can only compare how our team currently play to watching a football trials game. It's akin to watching 11 random players, all wearing the same shirt, but with absolutely zero collective responsibility or plan. Everyone of them just does their own thing and trying to impress for their own benefit. Some of them should not even be on the pitch. KDB has began to look that out of touch that even basic passes are beyond him. Lewis is nothing more that a Guardiola vanity project, and would not get a sniff at another Premier League team. Foden clearly contributes more the his feckin barber than he does to our team. And all of it, is at the behest of one man, Pep Guardiola! Nothing, absolutely nothing, will change until he has gone.

I wonder if the club will be charging £75 a ticket when we are playing in the conference league. shower of shite

Nice bukkake with Salah after the whistle
nani?

fecking shit.

I’m going to cry wank to the theme tune of the Antiques Roadshow.

Some proper clowns ‘support’ this club.

Carragher's smug fecking grid can get to feck. Scouse ****.
Tv went off bang on full time no time for the child spitter

I am starting to hate that fat Bruce Willis lookalike Slot as much as Klippety

Spurs away game pre match thread
They usually batter us when we're playing well...
The inevitable Spurs defeat coming up as obvious as night following day
Must win, will probably lose, just hope for a draw.

They're shite, we're no different.

4-4 all own goals.
Time for Kulusevski to turn into Zidane.
Depressing as it sounds, as they are shit, but I can’t see us winning right now.
We need to get back to winning especially now in the league doesn’t bare thinking if we don’t get top 4/5 for champions league..
Possession 32/68
Shot count 4-27
On target 3-12
Spurs 2-0 City
Spurs desperate for a win to get them up the table. City rock up. Perfect team to play against for a pick me up.

Madison and Son to run riot.
...
Chalk this down as yet another loss. I'm just being honest here. They will be full of confidence as they beat the mighty Ipswich 4-1 yesterday.

This season is like a never ending nightmare of Groundhog day proportions. I'm even seriously worried about Plymouth.
Groundhog Day perfectly sums it up same thing happening over and over,I mentioned in the match thread it’s like a perfect storm everything that could go wrong for us has it’s hit us all at once ..
You just know Son will turn into the Son that was around when Kane was there.
...
I'm going and will be on the bench.
Can you make sure Lewis, kovacic and Gundogan stay there with you
...
Does anybody actually think we can stop Spurs from scoring?
Not a chance
I don't think we could stop The Alexandra pub team from scoring let alone spurs.
We stopped Newcastle from scoring.... They're better than Spurs.

Tourist Fans vs Liverpool 23.02.25. thread
On the back of threads re whole rows of non City fans attending games................Sat in my usual seat in the Colin Bell stand and saw the bloke in the picture with an Arsenal hoodie on! Me and my son are getting increasingly fed up of the amount of tourist fans attending games! They rock up at about a minute before Kick Off, stand around blocking your view taking selfies, then can't find their seat! Seems the club are increasingly more interested in revenue than die hard, born and bred fans that stuck with the club through the dark times! 2025-02-24 AFC Fan at the Etihad 23-2-2025.jpg
Saw this posted earlier is it the same bloke ?

When we attend the Southampton game a fan had a spuds shirt on
why would he spend in excess of £70 for a match ticket when he supports Arsenal, would any of us realy have any interest in a Liverpool v Arsenal fixture except for looking at flashscores if they game had a bearing on our position in the table
Don't worry, it's all fine and dandy, tickets at 92 quid yesterday, a club for working class fans
This season is the first time I've started to waiver on just how disillusioned I've become with the club. Going to every home game and seeing more and more tourists, and more and more away fans in our end, is getting all a bit...shit?
The game us old school fans knew is dead and buried, that's why loads are giving it up in droves. Now the club love that atm but that model is only viable while the club are successful. These aren't fans with any loyalty or affinity with the club or area. They follow a certain star player or success. Once that ends they move on to the next big thing.
These Plastics are all over
Some Chinese on the metro the other day hadn't got a clue when we were trying to get past them at the Stadium Stop
They just blocked the exits and gawped
Of course they were dressed up in their 50/50s and all taking pics
Ffs City get rid of them
As I'm a legacy fan like a lot of others on here it's getting embarrassing
And to think We used to call Utd for their Tourist/Plastic Fans
Bloke in front of us had clearly seen enough by half time. Off came the new shirt he had bought from the club shop and into the bag it went, with all the other bits and pieces he’d purchased. Fuming he was
I think it's all planned - we, the traditional fans, are the only thing in the way of them getting to the next stage in their business plan - PL matches played anywhere in the world and no promotion/relegation.
The tribalism is a also problem because it isn't a good marketing look when the two sets of fans are segregated so they don't fight. Get rid of the die hard fan and you get rid of the tribalism. Keep putting the ticket prices up until the season ticket holders feck off, get rid of relegation and lo and behold we've got the American model that so many owners want.
...
Not sure why people are surprised

We slagged Rags off for not having local fans for years but we have morphed into them

We are customers not supporters or fans anymore

The club, as do others, make more money on day trippers than they do on ST holders

I have followed City throughout the dark days but now do not feel that loyalty is appreciated

We are a different club now

The Football is so much better but the feeling of being a part is not
Bang on the money. Was always going to happen and is the price of success and becoming one of the biggest clubs in the world.
...
Once you lose the habit and buzz for attending games it's gone forever.
Sad but true.
Gave it up after the CL win as the expense and ball ache of it was just too much.
Can honestly say I don't miss it - I don't miss having to set aside an entire day to attend 90 minutes that was costing me over £2k just for our home games.
I do kinda miss the blokes/lasses in 101 as they were a great laugh - but that's about it
...
The fact that they show up just before the match starts (or even later) and that they don't even have basic skills (like recognising letters of the alphabet on the stairs, despite having expensive mobile phones) annoys me to no end.

Sadly, the club seems to think they ought to have a place in the stadium (they certainly bring more money than I do), so it's rapidly going downhill...
What us English fans xant get our heads round is tourists who don't support any individual premier league team. But spend fortunes on attending any premier league games.
Their premier league football fans with no attachment to any club. My Turkish barber chooses a different team to watch each gameweek.
Fans don't exist anymore were customers from the clubs point of view.
Every premier league club is the same.
Successful ones are popular so obviously exploit us more
Sorry but these tourists shouldnt be anywhere nesr a game or the very least have there own plastic sections .......... if you dont get that sitting in a home end and celebrating a goal for the other team is wrong then you deserve all you get
I had a similar conversation with a rag mate on Sat night. I think at some point the arse will fall out of the clubs support if that makes sense. The tourists will not turn up in sufficient numbers on a regular basis to compensate. Will be massively exacerbated with any prolonged downturn in performance/results. Matter of time regardless I suspect.
Even now with all the recent success we've had we can't sell tickets for the more mainstream games. Sure on paper we're sold out, but if you can't attend and put your ticket on the exchange it often remains unsold if the opposition aren't a top club.
The number of tourists attending has increased significantly over recent years, particularly for Champions League games but yesterday it reached new levels - I’ve never seen so many half and half scarfs wearers in the East Stand for a league match and the number of those photographing the Liverpool fans celebrating at the end was absolutely galling.
Saw an older guy with a half and half scarf getting a few choice words directed at him near the toilets in the concourse of SS1. The seat next to me was taken by a lad who started filming the Liverpool fans celebrating their first goal. It's getting worse, sadly.
It's a fact that success brings in the tourists, however, season ticket holders who regularly miss matches should not be allowed to renew their season ticket and it should then be offered to someone on the waiting list
All part of being a global club now I'm afraid, these people are football fans, not fans of Manchester City.

I've been to a NY Knicks game, bought a stupid foam finger with 'go Knicks' on it, and sat there drinking a gatorade from a cup that was probably 3 times the size of my head, hotdogs the lot!

Me and the Mrs had a great time, and it's a memory, this is what we've become for fans from across the globe now.
Looking at the thread title, I thought there’d been mither between a group of overseas visitors and feral red scousers yesterday.

I’ll get me coat…
...
Same happens at Real Madrid & Barcelona.
And that’s the type of club we are now. Popular, winners (more often than not) and global. Of course people will want to come and see us.

Imagine 20 years ago someone said in 2025 we will be classed in the same regard as Barca and Real Madrid? You’d have sent them to Park House.
...
Football has moved on from what it was regarding fans/supporters,and a good percentage are tourists now,who maybe don’t support one team but 2 or 3..some see taking in a game like visiting attractions around the country be it museums, cathedrals,Buckingham palace etc,it’s the way it is now ..
Not the cnuts in front of me that celebrated the scouse goal like it was the birth of their new born. Do not go gentle into the good night ehh mate? ;)
...
The club has 8 authorised resale partners-8!

'Impostors in our own stadium' - why City fans feel increasingly outnumbered

Manchester City fans are becoming increasingly frustrated by opposition fans appearing in home sections at the Etihad.
www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk
www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk
Yep club sell the rights and don't give a shit and absolutely oblivious to it
...
How would we feel about designating an area specifically for tourists? If they were all on one level or all in one big block in the stand, and every other seat was a season ticket or regular match going blue with ticket pricing to match, would that be more acceptable to everyone - club still makes its tourist money, we have a chance of building atmosphere etc back in...

When we go abroad and do the reverse (ie become a tourist in a European city), you always know which part of the ground to go to, and which bits to avoid - the curvas in Italy for instance. Same could happen here - a block or blocks all with agency fans left to annoy each other.
We used to call this area 'old trafford'

PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Just a quick scan of the rags 23/24 accounts and its plainly obvious (and joyous) how deep in the shit that club is. They're fecking potless. But allowed to owe fellow "football family" clubs £414 million in transfer fees.

FOUR HUNDRED AND FOURTEEN MILLION POUNDS.

Just think about that figure for a minute. It's scandalous. 75% of their debt is transfer fees they haven't paid in full. Now, I get it that the fees are structured and on the never-never, but there surely has to be a cap on the total liabilities any one club can owe to other clubs. It'll be half a BILLION next year.

I'm no accountant but if the worst (or best) happens and they go bust, they take a lot of other clubs with them. In my business, if we can't afford to pay our bills as they become due, we're insolvent. End of. Lay off the staff. Lock the fecking doors. Directors facing bankruptcy.

PSR was brought in to protect clubs and stop unsustainable spending. Well, those bastards in Stretford are taking the piss.

But, let's go after Citeh, the nouveau rich plastics, because that redtop-sponsored PL crusade will deflect attention from the real cheats.

fecking sickens me, and I pray to God, the whole lot crumbles and burns. Like you, I've got a feeling our very own General Khaldoon will ride a tank right through the lot of the cnuts.

I thank you.

Never ever forget this people.

Those brave 'real' supporters getting caught up with 'Plastics'.
They're delusional, spoilt and morally bankrupt.

Once they became state owned, their fans bent over for their sugar daddy Sheikh, just like they did with Thaksin Shinawatra, and now they're surprised and angry that their stadium is full of tourists.

The tourist thing absolutely baffles me

Club is big.

People like that the club is big.

Because club is big, club is supported around the country and in other countries.

People come from around the country and people come from other countries to watch the game.

People hate people coming from around the country and other countries to watch the game.

It's so so weird

I don’t think many Bertie’s give a shit about the charges and if they go down (at least the ones at my workplace). It’s like own clothes day at school - you get to look cool for a day but you know you’ll be back in your shitty school uniform the next day - they’ll just be back to where they started.

Those brave 'real' supporters getting caught up with 'Plastics'.
They're delusional, spoilt and morally bankrupt.

Maybe the real fans want the old days of been terrible but just having just 'real fans' there, you can't have it both ways when you've gone and sold the sole of your club to launder a countries reputation and win some plastic trophies.

Been out numbered 10 to 1 by tourists and plastics is just part and parcel of it.

The number of empty seats today was embarrassing, they're expanding the stadium too . Struggling to sellout a home game for a 3pm kick off.

I wonder why they are bothering expanding it? Are they expecting bigger crowds in the championship?

They're the footballing equivalent of AI art.
At first it looks impressive, but then you see it has a plastic quality that can never be seen as real.

More seats means they can inflate the gates even more than they already do.

I think it also means bigger rents for concerts too, although our new stadium if it happens, will screw them over on that front I would think.

That’s a beautiful comparison. Entirely accurate as well
