cant defend.. all our defenders are still at the WC.. the first game or two back after the restart are going to be terrible.

Garnacho on the right seems a very strange decision

I'd expect better from AWB and Lindelof, but alas. This is only a training match I know, but we look dire

Garnacho needs to start passing the ball. He's lost the ball every single time.

This has been horrific so far. I know its just a friendly but...

We really need some of our better players back from the World Cup.

Worrying that we're going to be relying on this lot after Christmas.

Martial I feel has done well. Dropped deep, held the ball effectively. Just won a free kick.

Embarrassing. I know most of our first team players are missing but it’s never good to be on the wrong end of a pasting no matter who’s playing.

Amazing how much we've spent on defenders the last 5 years and this is the best we can come up with.

The defending is so laughably bad only a Utd team can look so disjointed. Friendly and all that but these second/third string just struggle at any level above league 1 quality.

Bissaka gave that up huh
It's like he couldn't give a feck how he plays, this is the type of clown when Keane talks about young players thinking they made it without doing anything just cause they play for us. The sooner the clown is gone the better.

Think the yardstick for if this goes well, has nothing to do with the score.

For AWB, it’s about starting a long journey getting back in shape, getting his timing back.

For someone like Mengi, it’s about showcasing himself for ETH.

For McTominay it’s about adopting even more into ETHs style of play. To take more risks, don’t be afraid of getting the ball.

And so forth and so forth. The actual score means nothing.

Most of the first team will be back. May not be as sharp as they should depending on when they get knocked out of the WC but they’ll play some part.

I doubt any that play into the last week will be playing against Forest. They'll get a break.

Amazing run by Zidane, good initiative by Elanga! Also, good pass by McT!
