This will be like Oles sacking I reckon where fans live under the impression we will pick up form but we just keep being dross week in week out. We’re gonna get rolled by any reasonably well coached team we play this season

Majority of his signings will be considered deadwood by the end of the season. Rinse and repeat with the next manager
It is like specialists in some job position (coach) are clueless in other jobs (scouting). I mean, imagine if we made some of our scout as manager, he would probably be clueless at that position. Or if we played ETH in the midfield, he would be clueless at that.

The amount of abuse I got for criticising his transfers. Even receiving a warning as a result. I wonder what everyone makes of them now?
I'd guess you got a warning because you whinged and whinged about signing Casemiro, promptly disappeared for months when he was performing brilliantly, and then came back and acted like a smug cnut after the Liverpool hammering.

Like every other manager post SAF he’ll get way longer than he deserves in the end. It’ll probably be like April time and we’re loitering around 8th before they take him out back

We are cursed. Only we would get a supposedly 'attacking' manager, who turns out not to be exactly attacking. And a possession-based one who apparently doesn't want his team to pass it with any type of pattern whatsoever.

Actually think this is the saddest run of form I've ever seen from United. We're absolutely terrible.

There's too much noise outside of the football for us to be a healthy team on the pitch.

I pity ten Hag. No manager can perform under these conditions. None.

He's in trouble now given we will likely get beaten in midweek in Munich. It's only good to be a pragmatist with no obvious plan when you're getting results because it shows an ability to be adaptable, when they're not coming and the whole club seems dysfunctional (mostly not his fault but he's not come out of all of the issues looking particularly good) then you haven't got much else.

He will still rightly have time, which he has earned based on his performance last season, and he won't be under serious pressure unless we keep losing over the next couple of months but the positive mood and goodwill he accrued is fading away.

Keeping Rashford ahead of Hojlund is criminal. So is not playing Pellistri

Maybe we shouldn't give managers hundreds of millions of pounds and expect them to be de facto DOF and Chief Scout, just on the off chance that maybe they aren't the promised messiah and we have to start all over again?
Or maybe we should hire an actual DOF and chief scout? This also happened under previous managers.

You know things are bad when even the prawn sandwich eaters at Old Trafford boo one of your subs.

This is the end. Can’t win away but now can’t even win at home. Disruption within the squad and utterly strange subs.

This one is on him. 100%. They very clearly were taking advantage of the space given to them by the system and he hasn't changed it at all. Also those subs were ass.

He's trash. Also see my username. He's a big fish in small pond. De Zerbi just demolished him tactics wise. We made brighton looked like prime barca. We played so narrow its absurd. This guy think like a fifa player. Even then fifa player wont sub their attackers out when they down 2-0. He needs a checking in his head

United fans love to cultivate their manager-worshipping religion. But we have been atrocious since March, so waiting things to improve just because is a bit deluded, isn’t it?

When we face the likes of Liverpool, City or Bayern we’ll get twatted again. But we genuinely deserve every bit of misery we get.

This is such a bad false equivalence, I can't help but think it's deliberate. You can't possible believe they started on even footing? Brighton were already doing well and playing good football under Potter, we were a shambles with several ticking timebombs in the squad.
Well they finished behind us. We had a poor season (by our standards) but had been consistently in the top 3 with that squad before that. He’s had enough time and he’s had enough money and he has given us soundbites and discipline but no real patterns of play.

The sad thing is that he succeeded last season doing what Ole did and play counter attacking football. Now he’s trying to open up and evolve and that’s costing him points just like it did for Ole. This club is always stuck in the first gear.

This is false.

I criticised the signing, was called out hundreds of times, and replied back. I would not have posted as much as I did if I hadn't got so many replies initially.

I also stated I was taking a break because of the abuse I was getting. And, during that period, I don't think he was good either.

Nice try, though, Mr. Scout.

Going down the drain with every second passing. Just thinking about the club makes me anxious, bad and with no prosperity in near future. It's not only EtH but everything about the club.

He's a goner unfortunately, just when. My guess is March when there is nothing left to play for

So so strange. I thought we were getting some Ajax Cruijffian nerd to be a BTEC Pep, then he goes ahead and ends up with a central midfield that don’t know how to play short passes

I know many will justify him because of a couple of injuries that don’t really change much but Brighton have Welbeck, Lallana, inexperienced Adingra and a makeshift defense out there.

He won’t last a season. Many fool themselves he’s good enough because he once recorded a long video talking tactics but he’s a really mediocre coach.

Same old cycle isn't it?

Hire a manager. Spend hundreds of millions on players he wants. Pay them a fortune. It all goes to shit. Sack the manager. New manager inherits a squad he doesn't want and needs several transfer windows to get his players in. Spend hundreds of millions on them..... etc. etc.

The big problem at this club has always been the lack of a Director of Football, which Ferguson was doing in his role as manager for decades.

We'll fire ETH and hire some other goon, and nothing will change.

So who do we get once we sack ETH as we will inevitably do if results continue to go south. I vote for having no manager - we can pioneer the trend. We’ve got nothing to lose.
