Wirtz might be the slowest player in the world.
Exactly. They are playing some great football and have played their heart out in every Europa League game. In this final they also have clearly been the better team and the lead is very deserved.People not giving Atalanta enough credit. Don't like this narrative that Leverkusen have 'messed it up'
Atalanta have been fantastic.
What’s his best position/playing style?Yeah we have I made the thread a while back.
He's performed well this season in reality as well.Scalvini on. One for the FM muppets
Him v Casemiro?Wirtz might be the slowest player in the world.
Me too. It's actually my most watched league as there's still some non robotic football in that leaguePrefer it to La Liga now.
You can take the player out of the bundesliga....Xhaka thinking he still in the farmer league
Wirtz just brushed off the ball again and Atalanta nearly scored.
Some posters who have an agenda against Bruno think we should replace him with this guy Bruno lacks pace but this guy looks even slower (and physically weaker).Wirtz might be the slowest player in the world.
Except thats not the league I was referring toYou can take the player out of the bundesliga....
I like it, once he committed, he finished itDecisive goalkeeping.
To be fair, this is the first time he's faced a quality manager.Always knew Alonso was overrated.
He's being heavily linked with Liverpool, which explains it.How has Koopemeiners not been booked? That is like the 4th time he commits a tactical foul to prevent a counter attack.
Sign him up. Looks class.Scalvini has been absolutely brilliant tonight.
20 years old and going to be the next Italian star centre-back
De Bruyne? There were people stating Wirtz is better than Bellingham in the Bellingham thread, which to me is an insane take.
Today shows Wirtz's limitations:
1) When he's not playing well, he loses the ball constantly and just looks really bad. Bellingham and De Bruyne, even when they have bad games, still are excellent at ball retention.
2) Wirtz' has a very limited engine, so when he cannot contribute from an attacking midfield perspective, cannot drop deeper and offer much in defense/screening/ball outlet.
Huh, he came on like 15 minutes ago.Scalvini has been absolutely brilliant tonight.

KDB is very good at ball retention even when not playing well.De Bruyne?
