He didnt even tried it. Then went full speed when he was out of the track.

If you break one second later, of course there is no space

And he immediately went full throttle.

I agree he should let Norris and Russell past fine but the narrative that is being peddled here is nonsense. He would have made the corner without going off if Russell wasn’t there.
Of course, but it wasn't dangerous situation, if he brake there he makes the corner and loses the position to Norris, so of course he picks the better option for him. Very smart, but if I was Norris I would complain too.

Yeah. Norris has a right to complain. Lewis accelerated straight thru the run off instead of trying to keep it on track.
Because there was a car there? Give the places back I agree due to the advantage he gained. But my word your bias stinks in your post. “More than a 5 second gain”? That is factually untrue. Anyway he’s given the place back so you can relax.

Yes I agree. Hence I agree he can give the places back. But cheating? Come on now.

I actually think Max could actually still win this. Clearly they compromised quality for race as usual, just that their advantage isn’t so massive for once.

I would say he will get a podium easily.

Why should he stay off and risk his position to Russel? Pretty stupid strategy from Ferrari.

This will be a long race. Tyres working well for everyone by the looks of it.

Let’s see what Leclerc will do
He has slowed down already after that radio communication. They are going for Sainz win as must obviously.

They are all going very slow and managing tyres - the most boring part of F1.

Fair play to Leclerc. I wouldn't be following those orders

Leclerc taking this surprisingly well I have to say.
Yep, especially because he hardly got any help from Sainz last year even when he was in title fight. Remember Sainz's:"Guys, don't ask me to do that"?

Logan Sergeant reminding everyone how useless he is. Scattering puncture pads all over the track
