@Sly thanks mate ;)
Jesus i mean, Gaitán being at Benfica for 5 seasons and no one taking him when alot of other expensive Benfica players left the club shows everything. He simply isn´t good enough for a top european team and definitely not worth 30 to 35 millions. And he had Mendes as agent. He can put most of his players in top clubs. Don´t get me wrong Gaitán is a very good player, just not United level. Im also skeptical about his adaptation to english football. He´s good technically but he isn´t very strong physically. And the fact that he is a poor shooter is a big turn off. Who would he cross to at United? Rooney? This transfer makes no sense for United. He´s also already 27 years of age (will be 28 in february).

Yeah, funnily enough, he's been linked to us every season for the last 5 years

This guy seems to disappear for huge stretches of the game, though I only see Lazio play in bigger Serie A, Coppa Italia or CL/EL games, so the opponent is always decent. He's fast and has nimble feet, but whereas Candreva is everywhere, you can forget Anderson is on the pitch for 15 minutes easily enough. I'm not sure how much is off the ball movement issues and how much is Lazio's tactics.

The one I always told you guys to buy was Douglas Costa. Felipe Anderson just run in tunnel vision, much less creative. He is not United calibre.

I'll make sure to get the message to Woodward. Thanks for the tip.

I think Felipe Anderson looks really promising from the few matches I have seen. Always hard to tell if players like that can step up to the next level but he has the tools, no doubt, and I could see the fit at United as he looks best on the right.

If we're interested you'd have to think it's more of a possibility now, yes.
hope we are interested because given time Memphis on the left, and Felipe on the right could be quite something.

Sure the price should have dropped a bit after tonight, £20-£22 million might be realistic.

I prefer Bellarabi. One of those players who seems to play well every time I watch him. At 25 he must surely be ready for that move to a top club too, and the ability to play right wing or up top surely suit our needs.

Any reason he doesn't get talked about much? I can't even find a thread on him.

Bellarabi would be also great and to be honest they would both fit the current team as Bellarabi can play as striker while F.Anderson supporting him from the wing.

He was linked with City and us in first months of the year but not much since then.

Is he actually any better than what we have?
Whether he is or isn't the fans would stop the club bashing having been given a shiny new toy.

But, he would give us something different in attack which is what we need. He is certainly better than Januzaj.

That Jesus Gabriel looks like a really good exciting player. Doubt we'll see him at united though.

The idea of Anderson and Memphis on the wings with Herrera in the hole certainly sounds exciting. I can't actually say too much about Anderson though as I've not seen anywhere near enough. Looks good from the clips but then so did Bebe!

Very good player. Quick and intelligent, scores a lot. We have been linked with him before.

I rate him, but he's been poor in the big games I've seen him in. Couldn't watch United from where I am, so had to watch Leverkusen against Lazio and like the rest of his team, he didn't look up for it.

I only watched the 2nd half. He did nothing for the first 15 of it, but I was still surprised his manager took him off considering they needed a goal to not be eliminated and down to 10, you would think a pacy goalscorer who can do it all himself on a good day would be worth leaving out there.

Any thoughts on Bellarabi? I'm not sure he's great at anything but he's a very good dribbler and presses hard (I guess the whole team does). Not quite sure he's United quality considering he's 25 and that's not so young for a winger who relies on running, but not a lot of players in a league as good as the Bundesliga hit double figures out wide last year.

People who love Shaw's pace at LB would definitely appreciate F.Anderson here in United. Power engine type player.

Ah cheers lads. I've genuinely never seen him play a live match as I'm not a huge Serie A fan. I've seen the usual clips alright and he looks fairly good but who doesn't look good on a good ouel YouTube clip.

If we talk about felipe anderson, i do not think he will be first or second choice on van gaal's list of players. Van gaal always loves his inside forwards , playerrs who cut inside with pace and make passes and shots. Like robben , depay . Felipe anderson is like valencia he lovesto go on outside and is not a playmaker but a more of a winger. I dont think he is the kind who will suit our system. I love his pace, his power he will be a good player, but our system requires specialist and i dont see a space here.

Huh? Valencia is the polar opposite of anderson. I would compare him to someone like nani more. He loves to cut insides, dribble through the opposition and shoot. Probably needs to learn when to pass the ball more often but is not your traditional go outside and cross it in winger.

Here is him at the U20 world cup, where Brazil reached the finals.. He was 3 years younger than most players there mind you..(17 years old)

great you tube vid... not sure it will be enough to actually get him a work permit though - you know with him not even having played for the u21's and only having 2 senior club appearances.

There's more videos on Gabriel Jesus than Anderson on this page.

I don't think we'll be linked with him, let alone sign him in the coming days.
