where are all the people from earlier in the thread defending these murderers
All of these incidents are unacceptable but they all seem to have one major commonality outside of ICE.

She said that because of harsh conditions while traveling up from Honduras through Mexico, her daughter became ill.
The journey is murderous.

The antibiotics are irrelevant. If she didn't use the full course the first time around, then a few leftover pills weren't going to help. The tweet suggests a denial of medial care but the NBC story doesn't mention it.

So, just a question, do the people mostly from Central-America seek refugee status as they arrive, or do they arrive as migrants? And if they seek refugee status, how many qualify under what the UN classifies as refugees, which is people escaping either war or persecution?

Migrants force-fed at Texas detention centre

Migrants on hunger strike at an immigration detention centre in Texas are being force-fed, officials say.

Immigration officials are using plastic nasal tubes to feed four men, which family members say are causing severe nosebleeds and vomiting.

The detainees are refusing food in protest against conditions at El Paso Processing Center.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) says a federal judge authorised the force-feeding this month.

How the US government created a fake university to snare immigrant students
Court documents reveal stunning scheme used to trap 161 foreign nationals; Ice maintains the students knew the school was fake
“These are students who are trying to make their lives better, these are not criminals, these are not people who are here, leeching off the system,” said Amer Zahr, an adjunct professor of law at the University of Detroit-Mercy and a spokesman for Najlaa Krim Musarsa, one of the students arrested.
