The worst transfer in our history is still playing for us in the 4th year and he is also the captain.

Sell him for 1 EUR.
It sums up United. Slow to react. Slow to change. Tolerating mediocrity. Maguire isn't the only trash player who is still here after several years

He'll come out and tell us about Everton and forest clean sheets.

Constantly at the STD clinic.
Once again the stupid darling boy of Old Trafford mr Shot Stopper De Gea costing us 2 goals but Maguire or someone else will get the blame.

De Gea has been the one constant since our days of mediocracy.

DDG is more to blame for that pass. He can see the players closing Maguire down and should probably know Maguire is not the best when it comes to making a 1st time pass.

That being said, Maguire is slow in turning with the ball, Bono wouldve been able to close him down

He was good tonight.
Yeah. Other than his mistake, charging out of defence to win the ball and failing, poor distribution and wayward long balls. Yeah he was pretty good for Seville

Honestly he’s pretty pathetic these days. You can see the huge drop off in our play when he and linderlof are paired together

Savage was absolutely desperate to absolve Maguire of any blame. Maybe De Gea should have known better given who he was passing to, but I refuse to accept that this isn't enough space for a supposed top class defender to receive a pass and not immediately panic and give it to an opponent:

Literally all he had to do was turn around and he takes three players out of the game. Not a doubt in my mind that Varane or Martinez are fine with that pass.
He also made it obvious too soon that he would try to pass to AWB, that's why in the 2nd picture the Sevilla player has already set-up to try and block that pass.

He should never wear the captain's armband ever again. This guy couldn't inspire a turd to float.

How can you blame the first goal on him? Maguire could literally have let the ball go past this body and taken three of their players out of the game but he chose to play a difficult first time ball.

Maguire and De Gea need to be the first two out the door this summer, no arguments.

I mean if he just dummies it through his own legs it probably goes straight to Casemiro. Probably easy to say in hindsight, but literally anything would have been better than passing it back towards his own goal.

The pass from De Gea was so slow that the pressing attackers had time to get to Maguire.

If it had been hit harder it would have taken the three pressers out of the equation.

Are you ignoring that all Maguire had to do was shield the ball and let the ball roll across him. Don’t ask for the ball if you havent at least scanned the pitch behind you

It is selective. Playing 45 minutes is plenty enough time to impact the game and we've seen it with him, it's just that his impact is always negative.

The guy is a lower half PL defender if he gets lucky and does well against that kind of opposition for that very reason - that's his level.
All I'm saying is that if he is going to get blamed for everything bad that ever happens at Manchester United, then he should also be praised for when he does well. And tonight aside, we were 9-0-0 with only 3 goals against in his last 9 starts. If you want to include last weeks game and completely ignore all the other games he came off the bench, then so be it. Then we were 9-1-0 with only 5 goals against

De Gea fecked up too but Maguire could have done anything other than what he did. He could’ve just booted it out for one.

I agree with Maguire, De Gea and Martial out. Fed up of the three of them.

Has no future at United. A laughing stock, and an unlucky charm for the club. Brings it all on himself. Have some self respect and feck off you clown.

Like De Gea, He does get more criticism than he deserves at times,
But games like tonight give people plenty of ammunition.
He isn’t good enough to be first choice at United, and he isn’t if we didn’t have so many injuries.
