I hear it's more in the range of 35 million (can't find the bloody Euro key)€42 millon...for a squad player?

That's exactly what a feeder club is.Probably the other way round.
Madrid need good loan moves for their young players (and sometimes their old ones like Carvalho). Spurs could be a good match for them.
ExactlyIn a league that contains Xavi, Busquets, Fabregas and Xabi Alonso, I doubt that very, very much.
I know. That's kind of the point I was making regarding giving yourselves four days to replace him.Sigurdsson is very obviously not intended to be Modric's replacement. He's a very different type of player, with very different role.
ctrl + alt + $ = €i hear it's more in the range of 35 million (can't find the bloody euro key)
Yes, I remember, the Euros started that day and I was in Warsaw, offline for two days - I got about ten messages we had signed Modric.Remember this?
He has the physique of a ten year old boy.Wasn't Glaston spouting in the past how Modric wouldn't go for less than 50m?

Bed goes up, bed goes down; bed goes up...
That was last summer (when Spurs turned down a 40m bid from Chelski) - and in relation to a Premier league club.Wasn't Glaston spouting in the past how Modric wouldn't go for less than 50m? ...
Uh huh, sure. Where's that 50m?That was last summer (when Spurs turned down a 40m bid from Chelski) - and in relation to a Premier league club.
Get with the times.
Try reading what I posted, dumbo.Uh huh, sure. Where's that 50m?
No.Try reading what I posted, dumbo.
Play him with Alonso and bench Khedira. Apart from the Barca games. Now Ozil can rest for a bit
To be fair to Modric he gave them another year. Then when Levy looked like he was gunna be a cnut about it he must have seen similarities to last Summer so forced it through.moral of the story:
act a cnut, get your move.
Long term, yes. Right now though Ozil looks a bit knackered.Play him with Alonso and bench Khedira. Apart from the Barca games.
That's probably the figure after tax.Apparently he'll be earning 4.5 million euros a year; i.e. 90k Euros per week i.e. 71k pounds a week.
I'm surprised it's so low tbh. (ESPN)
With my signing-on bonus, I'll be able to buy myself a new pair of jeans.Wasn't Glaston spouting in the past how Modric wouldn't go for less than 50m?

Yes, Marca quoting it as 90k net, so about 180k Euros (£140k) gross. That's probably the figure after tax.
Yes he has. He also got more quality in his weaker foot than most of oldschool English or any other hardmen. Perhaps a good reminder for the coaches. He has the physique of a ten year old boy.
I'm aware of all of that. Also I don't mean to suggest Modric will improve that much, but that playing on this stage his genius will finally be fully recognized. He'll play to the same level he did against Spain in the Euros, only at Madrid he'll see 3 times as much of the ball. Even from his very short cameo tonight it's clear just how comfortable he is on the ball and how well links the play. This was just a very minor taster. By Chrsitmas he'll be running games from start to finish.I'm not sure if you forgot but there is a team in la liga that has probably the three best center midfielders in the world alone. You seriously believe that by the end of the season modric will be better then xavi, iniesta or fabregas? Or even xavi Alonso for that matter? He's a fantastic player no doubt but the barca players are on a whole other level.
