Manchester United vs Liverpool

Why does Rooney keep doing that 40 yard pass when he has better options?

We need to learn from LFC/CFC about cynical fouls. Henderson there wiht a great example - beaten by Herrera, but just tugged him back to eliminate the threat. No card, just a small thing. We've been terrible at that for years now.

Barca are the masters.

Love to see someone take their man on, passing it well and Young deliveries have been bang on but Hernandez just not reading them.

Half-time (45+2')
Fletcher has retreated from playing an active forward passing role. THis is why we've looked poor going forward sometimes.

Wing backs been fine and Mata has been ok. Everyone else dogshite.

Playing a possession based game with Hernandez on the field is like having 10 men :/

Time and time again Young is producing brilliant balls into the box but not one United player even attempting to get to it frustrating

Shame to say it, but Hernandez doesn't have enough to his game to make it here. Especially under Louis. Probably kill in Italy but I think his times up. We should look to bring in someone with an eye for goal but better link up play, or promote Wilson to see how he fairs.

Rooney should've given the ball to Shaw there who was on the run. Turns and another crossfield ball.

I expect Zaha on for Hernandez to inject some pace and direct threat

Rooney with his famous drop the shoulder>cross field pass move. Fletch has really slowed our passing down, lacks any urgency where he was completely the opposite vs Madrid.

Shaw, Young, Herrera and Mata, and De Gea, all been good.

Rooney anonymous. Smalling decent.

Fletcher, Evans, Jones, Hernandez all awful.

Shaw, Young and Mata excellent.

Herrera good touches when he's on the ball.

Fletcher and our back 3 look really out of sorts.

Rooney cross-field passes are becoming tedious
