Mo Salah

Best player in the world for me. Probably a unpopular opinion.

Didn’t see the match live today and only saw the highlights now but feck me, what brilliance from Salah for both of Liverpool’s goals.

What a player he’s become.

He’s in ballon d’Or contender form at the moment. He’s dragging a very average midfield and attack in the title race.

He’s not the best player in the world but best player in the league in current form. In fact he’s been top 3 in the league for most of his time at Liverpool, managed to end up a little underrated for a while.

Fabinho is world class. Far from average. And he has been consistent.

While Henderson is rarely appreciated here and had an average match today, overall he has been good. Thiago has been brilliant since last season end when paired with Fabinho.

You can say Salah has been masking Mane and Firmino's poor form, even though Mane has delivered goals.
But saying our midfield is average is just plain wrong.

I'm surprised people are only starting to notice his form. He has stepped up a gear since last season after Mane and Firmino faded.

I mean, it is, but sure. Henderson hasn’t played well at all since returning from injury. Fabinho is a very good player — fair. Don’t get me started on thumbs up Thiago.

I think everyone (including Liverpool fans) has been harsh on Henderson this season. He’s playing better than he’s getting credit for, although today he was terrible.

Mo Salah is Liverpool's best player. There were some scouse intellectuals arguing before the purge that Mane' was better, at least that argument has been settled once and for all.

Hope the fecker wants to prove himself in La Liga and drags his feet over a new deal.

It's hard for me to rate him fairly when I have a mild allergic reaction everytime I see his face, but it's reassuring that other people think he's shite.

Henderson, Jotta, Robertson - such an unlikeable trio.

Oh bugger, even Utd fans are noticing Salah again. The diving, foreign, one season wonder, no right foot, twat. :(

Please (continue to) look the other way. Nothing to see here. :wenger: Don't want his agent and PSG getting silly ideas.
I thought you were a good poster, but are you drunk tonight or something?

Salah is a world class player. No doubt about that. Would gladly take him to United. You can have Martial in return.

Arguably the best player in the world on current form, annoyingly.
100% best wide attacker in world football for me, coming off either side with the ability to use both feet is deadly. The fact his dribbling speed is probably faster than the average players full sprint is stupid.

He’s close to being the best player in the world. In fact, I can’t think of anyone better at this moment.

Why is he still there? Where the feck are madrid, barca, psg or even the Italian clubs? I'm sure they could all pay as much as liverpool are and offer a better city to live in.
Historically I'd say every aspiring footballer who isn't a scouser would rather play for Madrid or Barca than Liverpool. I honestly thought they would struggle to hold onto him, Mane and VVD but they've managed to keep them without paying them absurd wages either.

I know the Premier league is the place to be and Liverpool are as good as any of the clubs I mentioned so silverware is almost guaranteed for them but what happened to big European clubs taking the leagues best players?

Lewandowski.

I swear people don’t even watch Lewa play before they say his name. It’s similar to Neuer - no matter how shit he plays, he’s always referred to as the best keeper.

Lewandowski’s all round game is a well few notches below Salah. It does not make you less of a red to say Salah is the best player in the world at the moment.

He has 116 goals in his last 97 games for Bayern Munich, and 282 in his last 290 games since 2015. Only Messi and Ronaldo can compete with that level of elite goalscoring in the past 30 years of football.

Salah vs Hazard is basically the new Gerrard vs Lampard on social media.

Barca is broke, Italian clubs aren't exactly the richest and he already played there, Madrid has an Mbappe obsession

I could see PSG going for him next summer if Mbappe leaves and they can't get Haaland although Salah would need to not renew until then

Salah is staying at Liverpool unfortunately for quite a while, because of their bonus goals based wage system, Salah makes a fortune, think last year he was best paid in the league when bonuses came into account and look at him this season, it will be the same.

Liverpool won’t sell to another PL team, PSG are too top heavy already and none of the rest can afford him. Real want Mbappé and won’t have any interest in a 30 year old winger from the PL for massive money after the Hazard disaster.

Salah and Messi in the same team ?

Great player but imagine most Liverpool fans are a bit torn on him given that summer he spent pushing to try and get a move to come to Utd.

I see it more as he has generally kept his form from the title winning side to a very good level where as the others havent. Isnt a huge surprise as good as players like Firmino, Mane, Robertson, TAA, Henderson for example are....a lot of them all had a good season of there absolute top form, impossible to keep that going. Regardless of what Liverpool do over th enext season or so, I think we have already seen the very best of a lot of them that they will be able to continue, Salah however can

Talk in Qatar is that they want to move Messi to 10 and get Salah for RW.

They feel it’s imperative that they have the best Arab player in history playing for them, and are excited about having an all-Arab right flank (Hakimi).

Salah’s wife has apparently been waiting for the Paris move for a couple of years.

One year left on his contract. If I had to bet, I’d bet on it happening in the coming summer.

 Has to be one of the worst wind ups ever and I’ve read a lot.
