So what’s your opinion of Poch bringing on a player with so little pre season when chasing a game that he forgot how to play football?
He is their marquee signing and most fans even wanted him to start that game. I thought it was a good tactical decision in concept and that Caceido would help shield the back four, so other attacking players could be more adventurous in the attack.
The alternative was Ugo on the bench and if poch had bought him on instead, many would criticize him on why caceido didn't start Or come on. It was an gamble either decision he made. I m sure Caceido will bounce back from that.
If people think he will flop, then they haven't seen him play. Him and Caceido are brilliant midfielders and with consistent game time, they will make chelsea more competitive.

Let me also add that the Caceido transfer should have been completed at the beginning of the window when they lost out on urgarte. It was a complete mess, that they waited last minute and as a result of that, he didn't have a preseason and ended up paying over £15m more than what they would have gotten him. Their recruitment team isn't as great as it seems
