Critiquing Ed and the Glazers is fine, it has been done and will be done, however there are numerous ways in which that criticism is less pertinent.
For starters, nobody actually knows what specific decisions they made, apart from the appointment of the manager and the general level of investment (which is the second highest in the country). We know precious little about most everything else. It's a very convenient canvas for all sorts of fantasies.
The manager is just not in that sort of position, whoever it may be. He makes most of the important decisions, and virtually all of those decisions are visible to us and in the public sphere.
To expect equal amount of criticism, considering all that, is ludicrous; without even examining the particulars.
