No, official announcement with the Insomniac deal.
The official word is that the Bluepoint logo was "a mistake" in that announcement still I think. Bluepoint have made a point of adding "fully independent" to its Twitter profile too. I'm pretty sure nothing has been announced yet.
I don't think that's the case. When Sony announced Housemarque they accidentally released an image of Blue Point as well, but it was deleted and Blue Point is still independent at this point. Nothing offical. I think that could change later
In that case then maybe you're right and they get officially announced tonight.
Now you mention it I do recall some back peddling after the Housemarque and Insomniac announcements.
Still I'd rather see gameplay than a studio acquisition announcement.

That would be nice. When they first announced the PS+ Collection I thought they would update it now and then. Not very regular or anything like that, but a game now and then. It's a shame they haven't.
I do like the PS+ collection though. That was a good move by Sony.

Hogwarts looks amazing but I’d be surprised if we saw any of it tonight.

It was indeed a good move and I too thought they would add to it throughout the year but that hasn’t been the case. Don’t know if it was just to celebrate the PS5’s release?
The games they have been releasing on a monthly basis for the last couple of months now are nothing to shout about.
To make the new console more attractive surely. It's a brilliant collection but sadly I've played nearly all of it. Oh, and I don't have a PS5, that's probably the sadder bit.
Yeah, I think it was just a consumer-friendly move. Buy this new console and immediately have this great selection of games. Although, if you're a PlayStation fan you've probably played many of them. But there were some I never played and thanks to that I had the opportunity to.
PS Plus in general is a little stale. Hopefully, they'll announce something later.
I pay nothing on pc for a more stable, reliable multiplayer gaming and get more free games from epic game store.

- A reboot of Jak and Daxter
- A remake of R4: Ridge Racer Type 4

Jak and Dexter was a great game, never played the sequels though. Wouldn’t mind a return of those.
Whilst we’re on the topic of remakes and such, I’d love them to redo Vagrant Story.

Good to see Epic's marketing strategy is finally starting to pay off, have never heard anyone hype up the Epic Store before.
Man I was in awe of Jak and Dax when it first came out on PS2. The world was so big and it blew my tiny puny little kid mind at the time.
I'd rather see a remake of FF8 if we're going for old school games. The way it still divides gamers is beautiful. Plus Quistis is a cutie.

I'd rather call it a shit service and ask for better. But then i haven't played any online mulitplayer on it in months so i guess i'm half way there.
I'm not hyping up Epics free games, they're junk. I've still played more of them than the playstation equivalent.
I'm hoping for GoW in late 2022 and Spiderman 2 in Q1 or Q2 in 2023, and a few other less massive titles in between.
Personally I think PSN is alright, especially if you buy a years sub when it very regularly goes on sale at a deep discount.
Maybe month to month the service doesn't always have blockbusters and I could live without it - but for £2 a month or so, I have built up a very extensive library over the years.
I bought a years sub on sale. I'm paying €5 a month, maybe the exchange rate is so wonky that ends up at £2 for you. But i was paying nothing for it on the dreamcast 20 years ago and nothing for it on pc since. And its not stable or reliable, its a bit of a pain to set up compared to anything on pc so that feels backwards.
I dont care about the games really. It helps offset paying for multiplayer if they put something half decent on it but they haven't for months.

Interested to see what they've done with the location. Can you stick with Manhattan for a sequel? Especially after Miles.
Hard to know, they might bring the metaverse into it and go into a past/future NY, would be cool.
