Few months ago it was valid decision. But now it just looks ridiculous. Five straight wins, they are playing good, outplayed City in FA cup.....
Circus.

Anyway....it is time  .

Ruthless private equity owners. He's been shite, considering the money spent. Mid table all season till the late surge. Not surprised.

He's probably copped blame for bottling the league cup final and possibly his training methods for some of the injuries.

Good to see the new owners aren't that different.

More interested in who comes in ..?

This is utterly ridiculous even by Chelsea standards. He's just started to look like they're onto something.

Pochettino finished the season quite well. A strange turn of events by a club which seems hellbent on self-sabotage.

They've obviously agreed terms with their new manager, probably trying to get ahead of us before ten Hag gets the boot after the cup final.

Question is who they've agreed terms with, McKenna or Tuchel?
Surely can't be Tuchel, not after kicking him out unceremoniously. Plus, the article says they want a "young and exciting manager"

If we get De Zerbi we should also consider relocating to Brighton.

The article says this regarding next manager:

Among the names likely to be considered will be Stuttgart’s Sebastian Hoeness, Girona’s Michel, Ipswich Town’s Kieran McKenna, who has been lined up by Brighton, and Leicester City’s Enzo Maresca.
That's a wild list. Nobody with PL experience, nobody who has managed a club anywhere near Chelsea's size before, and I think none have managed in Europe before either. They could strike gold but they have every chance of going backwards too with a new manager coming in, needing to get used to the league and the club, and juggling PL and European football together at the same time.

Can't believe you are excusing this idiocy.

Boehly definitely just looks at who wins stuff or gets close with a small club and then thinks giving them a big daddy bank balance is the answer.

Even more bizarre seeing as they already made the same error with Potter who even had PL experience..

What the feck

I genuinely thought we're nailed on to get De Zerbi because that was the most logical explanation given all the publicly available info. But fecking Chelsea out of nowhere.
