Good result. I only turned on for the last 10 minutes (at work) and we killed the game really well, which was good to see. Then again Leicester's lack of ambition was truly pathetic.

So many complaining before kick off about the line up but I was like the game isn't played on paper, not bad eh?

Go ahead by two goals, keep the ball, job done.

We could, and probably should, of sent a bit of a message with this game but in the end, its just ended up another frustrating and unconvincing performance.

Good first half. Crap second half. We dominated them though. Just a shame we didn't smash 5 or 6 past them. They were there for the taking.

Couldn't complain much, Blind was excellent and we seen glimpses of the old Falcao who I thought was very good also

Roll on Tuesday but a weekend to get threw first :)

Subs ruined it, but all in all a great performance. Shame we couldn't hammer another 4 against them.

Shaken, and very stirred......
very happy with that. It was obvious we would take the foot of the pedal in the second half. Not quite sure why RVP was taken off...perhaps a knock? Great great game from Blind. I said he would be a great signing and so happy he has been. People were a bit meh when he signed...but he's bloody good...

Not a fan of Rooney in midfield. #10 is one thing. Playing in a 2 man midfield is not ideal.

We really should have better options than him for that position.. Either play him as an attacker or bench him.

That'll do. Handy win, and no injuries hopefully.
Probably won't be the same setup next week at West Ham. That'll be a tough one.

Decent performance. We seemed solid for once and despite letting in a stupid goal the result was never in doubt. Still not exactly exhilarating football. There's still plenty of room for improvement but it was much better.

Don't think this system is great for ADM. Otherwise most were good. Shaw was the least impressive, Blind MOTM. The strikers were good as well.

Job done in the first half. We did what we needed to do at their place in the second half and just kept the ball. Comfortable.

Better, and a good win, but a little underwhelming again.

Blind is great.

Only blot for me today, we didn't score a couple more.

Still waiting for that 5/6 goal victory.

Very positive first half, second half we lost our tempo a bit but never looked like doing anything but winning. Hopefully LvG doesn't take the goal we conceded too much to heart as this was a good performance with a good system to build off.

Both our strikers looked decent, Falcao especially showed some good glimpses.

Rooney and Jones were our worst two today.

Blind was MoM.

Great result.

We still don't look settled at the back and the RvP - Falcao double act doesn't feel right either, so there's more to come yet.

Some people will never be satisfied, they'd sooner risk losing by going for even more goals than just be content with 3 points and almost guarantee the win.

If we have the ball the opposition can't score so why give it them?

We've scored the most home goals in the league as of now (Chelsea and Southampton are 1 behind though with Chelsea still to play tonight and Southampton tomorrow).

Thought it was pretty uninspiring to be honest. Leicester were absolute muck yet we let them score and we should have banged in a tonne of goals.

Rooney is not a midfielder and the sooner LVG realises it the better.

The less said about the substitutions the better.

The match day thread  I've never seen so many people collective shat themselves as much as when Leicester scored..

Oh what have we been reduced to?

Good performance. We could've easily knocked in 5 or 6. Need to build on that with another few performances with the same formation.

All I can say is play this formation. Practice makes perfect. Keep the team as-is, freshening up with Fellaini and Herrera occasionally, play Mata more and maybe drop one of RvP/Falcao. Today we saw why the 4-3-1-2 is infinitely better than the 3-5-2. Looks more fluid, players are far calmer and more comfortable playing where they're supposed to. This will only get better so long as we stick with it and don't drop the formation the second we lose to someone.

Blind has played his way in front of Carrick, even if the latter is injured. He's just show he's our top DM. He should not be forced into LB because we want to be sentimental and play Carrick.

Rooney is a waste in midfield and not quite good enough to play the position, at a pinch when we have injuries fine but when we have a perfectly good midfielder or two sitting on the bench theres no need.

Daley Blind is a joy to watch, the way he kept it cool and played out under pressure was amazing. We played well in the first half and had 3 goals to show for it, second half calmed it a bit and they got a goal. We did not win because Leicester were poor.

A little disappointed to be honest. Leicester were pathetic and we could've easily scored 6 or 7 goals if we actually tried going forward or playing with some pace. Pretty boring game all around though I thought.

Individually everyone was fine.... Annoying about Herrera of course. Would like to see the 4-2-3-1 we finished with more often, just with Herrera in for Rooney and Rooney up top.

Good all-round display for me, Di Maria was very good, would have been nice to have either Mata or Herrera to link up with him during his turn of pace. Blind was also excellent, calm on the ball and troubled the opposition. I thought we kept our shape will, barring the goal. Rooney was poor today, but he kept very deep, I was hoping he'd try and get more into the box when we had it on the flanks. Confidence slowly coming back, as a defensive unit we are fine, and the player were definitely trying more through balls and key passes today as compared to other recent performances.

An unconvincing 3-1 win, solid performance but we didn't look comfortable seems to be the theme of the LVG era

We did lose the ball and they did score, we were in complete control before the subs and formation change.
