The formation is not so important. Space between lines is nore important. You can stop Man City by playing 4-3-3 as long as lines are close too each other. All they do 95% of time (City) is pass and move , 1-2, moving triangle and high pressing. In a weird way they are very predictable and you need to use brain to stop them. Wenger tries to beat them with their primary weapon. He did similar stupid things in the past. Jose will not make the same mistake .

Jose did the same mistake last season at home though. Rooney and Zlatan up front with Pogba and Fellaini to cover the space. Also Lingard and Mkhitaryan just back into the team from injury without having played much and they struggled as expected. Just great lack of movement and brain to press them and cover space so De Bruyne totally dominated.
