I was talking to a club physio (not United) the other week and he was saying there is a push in football now to stop rushing players back, as longer term it improves fitness reliability, but lots of managers only think of right now and want their players available the second they can be. Injuries compound on themselves and that's why players become injury prone, because old injuries never heal properly.

All just guess work of course, but because Ole has the history he does with playing injured/not fit players, I don't think its unfair/crazy to suggest Varane might have come back in a bit earlier then he should have.
