Yeah, I'm hoping it's more along the lines of £50 million.I have no ill will to Ole
But hopefully there's some clause that means there's not some £20M pay off... .

Exactly this. This was meant to happen based on our recent performance but he'll always be a legend as a player. Thank you Ole they'll still sing your name
Does it really matter to you if there is a payoff? Forget the Glaziers dividends, would the club be any worse off giving him 20mil?I have no ill will to Ole

Agree 100%. Hope he gets the credit he deserves. This forum been an utter disgrace latelyThanks for building the foundations of a title winning side, Ole. The next manager will be more than grateful.
Legend.
Not convinced Zidane will work out here, the best option is Blanc as interim and then get Ten Hag in the summer imo.Wonder whether we'll go for the best available right now (Zidane?) or an interim until the summer?
I hope we get Zidane. Who can be better than him and available?Wonder whether we'll go for the best available right now (Zidane?) or an interim until the summer?
Why do you give a feck?I have no ill will to Ole

Let’s see what Conte does as Tottenham before we get all pissed off about missing out on himThis is what pisses me off the most. We knew that this was going to be the end result for a long while now, even before the Liverpool game. We had a genuine top 5 manager available and wanting to come and instead we bottled it... for what? What did we gain from these weeks wasted? Now we have nothing to rely on unless they've decided to give Zidane the keys to the city or something in an effort to bring him here.
Absolutely. I hope he takes them for every penny he can. Someone is going to benefit from the club's money and I'd rather it was him than someone with Glazer for a surname.Yeah, I'm hoping it's more along the lines of £50 million.
No, that’s what I mean, Zidane is maybe the best available right now. There might be better available in the summer but that means waiting until then.I hope we get Zidane. Who can be better than him and available?
It should never have gotten to this stage.Exactly this.
It boggles my mind that people are happy with the sacking itself. Ole is a legend and it should never be nice to see things turn out like this for him.
However, it would make sense to be happy about bringing in a superior replacement. Because that would actually be for the good of the club. But we're yet to see that, so let's give a minute.
If anybody's making this a personal thing about Solksjaer rather the actual future direction of the club, they've got their priorities wrong.
He won nothing. And he lowered standards to an absurd degree. His time as manager with United was the good the bad and the ugly.
Ugly - Liverpool 5-0, today's 4-1 v Watford, 4-0 v Everton, 6-1 v Spurs, 2-0 home losses to Cardiff, Burnley and CL losses to Young Boys and istanbul başakşehir
Bad - 0-2 v Arsenal, 2-1 v Sevilla, penalty shootout loss v Villarreal, 1-0 Bournemouth, the round 7 CL exit to RB Leipzig and 3-1 FA cup exit to Leicester
Good - 2-0 v Chelsea, 3-2 v Liverpool, 9-0 v Southampton, two wins away to PSG, a couple of wins against Man City, 5-0 v Leipzig.

100%Absolutely. I hope he takes them for every penny he can. Someone is going to benefit from the club's money and I'd rather it was him than someone with Glazer for a surname.
The Glazers would take their share regardless of whether Ole takes 100 millon out of the club. The millions going to Ole are going from the transfer budget.Absolutely. I hope he takes them for every penny he can. Someone is going to benefit from the club's money and I'd rather it was him than someone with Glazer for a surname.
He steadied the ship, it was unsteady for another 2 years after that with the turbulent runs of form and he's crashed it into an iceberg in the last 2 months. He did steady the ship. It’s unsteady now, but the core is something that another manager can make great.
As a player - yes.Ole will always be a legend.
Of course it is and it isn't in any way something you've entirely made up in your head to have one last pop at Ole.The Glazers would take their share regardless of whether Ole takes 100 millon out of the club. The millions going to Ole are going from the transfer budget.
I hope he gets every single penny thats due to him, we've thrown a fortune at every manager thats left since SAF, Ole at least cared for the club and had its best interests at heartI have no ill will to Ole

What he does at Spurs has nothing to do with what he would have done here. We missed out big time.Let’s see what Conte does as Tottenham before we get all pissed off about missing out on him
If he burns the place to the ground on his way out then we dodged a bullet. He’s a good coach but he likes a strop way too much. What he does at Spurs has nothing to do with what he would have done here. We missed out big time.
Poor people will always put money above everythingPeople get sacked all the time. Ole walks away with millions in his pockets. No idea why anyone would feel sorry for him. Hes still an iconic player here. Just a terrible manager.
You actually believe the Glazers would give Ole's money out of their precious dividends? It's going out of the club. The Glazers have no money of their own, nor do they care one lick about Manchester United. They'll suck the club dry to the bone then sell when it is no longer profitable.Of course it is and it isn't in any way something you've entirely made up in your head to have one last pop at Ole.
Why can’t people be happy with the sacking? He’s underperformed as manager. He’s still the same legacy as a player he’s had before this stint, IMO, but nothing wrong with being happy with an underperforming manager been given the bootExactly this.
