Delighted. If he does ever come back into the team (I hope we don’t need him again, he’s pretty terrible from a team play and overall morale standpoint)he needs to toe the line and muck in. It's not really to placate, it's a good plan to have Ronaldo be able to focus on just a 30 min burst to run while moving Rashford to the left where we would be countering from.

It would be foolish to plan with such certainty about substitutions when you don’t know how the game is going to pan out. If we are hanging on to a victory, the need to bring on Ronaldo is very little considering he isn’t going to offer much in pressing or defending.

No he's not. If he was desperate to leave he'd have taken a pay cut and moved to a lower league. Literally all offers his agent was shopping him around for included us paying part of his salary.
