Wish the game was earlier to be honest, something like 12, like on boxing day. Got family coming round tomorrow which probably means that I won't watch it.
THIS IS AN IMPORTANT REMINDER TO ALL CAF MEMBERS!

Looks like rumors are right, Herrera is in the squad. He posted this on instagram some 12 hours ago.
The way the Spanish contingent buddy up is so darling, why are our Spaniards so adorable?

Out of curiosity, our history isn't laced with Spaniards, is it? Pique? Who else?

We're better off without him haha.
Obviously that's just your opinion. Of course we CAN win this without him but I'm not too sure that we're 'better off without him' for a game against Stoke City who have such a physical playing style. TBF I thought we'd struggle against newcastle without Felli given that they are also a very physical side, except they played like crap for the most part (giving us acres of space) and we therefore had our way with them.

Stoke have moved away from the physical and long ball approach. They are trying to play proper football now. Physicality is overrated in England

They are, but there is still a nasty side to them. If Charlie Adam ends up in the side our players will need to be wearing steel shinpads.

Hoping we go back to 4 at the back, but it's unlikely.

After hearing the various tidbits of news I'm going for (although my prediction was already in :( )

    De Gea
    Jones - Smalling - Evans
    Young - Carrick - Rooney - Shaw
    Mata
    Van Persie - Falcao

Edit - thought it looked strong, 12 players ha.

I predict a boring game today were we'll struggle to get any momentum and string 5 passes together. 2-1 Stoke.

I think/hope that our possession game will be very difficult for Stoke to handle. I dont think they will be able to counter attack like Villa did.

Damn, just missed the edit. Was about to say that I think we could take Stoke with 12 players

New Years Day and a cold and windy Britannia , could be the first banana skin of the year.
I have predicted a 3-1 in but in the back of my mind is the thought we could struggle.
That's some claim Mr Dyson :p

    you what?

Shawcross, Huth, Crouch, Walters, Adam, and a fair few others would disagree.

They're hardly a one touch team of flair players

I have been impressed recently with the development of the understanding between our forward players. The link up play is getting better and when we click properly for a full game, then I predict a team will get hammered. Hope it's today.

I had the same teamed picked in a WhatsApp group. I saw herrera, and panicked that I only had 10 players picked.....I dislike you now for hurting my brain

Man Utd Starting XI: De Gea, Young, Jones, Smalling, Evans, Shaw, Carrick, Mata, Rooney, Van Persie, Falcao.

Subs: Lindegaard, Blackett, Rafael, Fletcher, Herrera, Januzaj, Wilson.
